Chippei is the slash ship between Shuntaro Chishiya and Ippei Oki from the Alice in Borderland fandom.

Ippei and Chishiya both are players in the Borderlands. In the live-action they both participate in the Jack of Hearts game where they partner up, however in the manga Ippei and Chishiya both participate in a Jack's game but not in the same one and thus do not meet each other. In the live-action, the two are seen nearly all the time standing by each other, both literally and metaphorically.

Nightfall arrives and the Jack of Hearts game begins at Teio Prison, which Chishiya participates in. The rules are simple; each player is fitted with a collar that shows a card suit in the back that changes every round, which they cannot look at. Therefore, the players have to rely on others to tell them what their card suit is in order to win. Additionally, a Jack of Hearts is hidden amongst the crowd, and the game does not end until either the Jack eliminates everyone else, or the Jack is found and gets eliminated.
As the rules are being announced, Ippei approaches Chishiya, excited to tell him about how they just needed to tell each other what suits they are. However, Chishiya is not too sure. After the rules about the Jack are announced, Chishiya informs Ippei of having to lie to the other players to find out who the Jack is.
As the other players are telling each other their suits, Ippei asks Chishiya if they could tell each other their suit symbols. After which Chishiya tells him to be more careful if he wants to survive, saying that for all he knows, he himself might be the Jack. Chishiya tells him that everyone is starting to form their own groups, pointing to a man and woman remaining close to each other. He informs Ippei that before the game, the woman and man were involving in sexual activities with each other, since the man wanted to assert power and control over her so she won't interact with the other players.
Soon after this, Urumi, who lead a group in which everyone would be honest with the other, approached the two and asked if they wanted to join their little club. Although Ippei initially tried declining nicely, Chishiya told her that they would join. After they all tell each other their suit symbols, they go to the solitary confinement cells to guess their suits. After everyone leaves their cells, Ippei is seen standing and waiting for Chishiya, following him when he passes by.
The two witness a man getting beaten so he could tell the abuser his suit symbol. Chishiya remarks that the game has now just begun. The victim lies to his abuser and says that his suit is a club. After everyone tells each other their suits, they go back to the jail cells into solitary confinement again. This time, however, someone is dead. Urumi informs her group members of how that man lied to someone and killed him, so they should all lie to him. Later, all of them are seen in a cafeteria eating and telling each other their suits. They all lie to the man and tell him his symbol is a spade when it was a heart.
Next, round 4 begins and the man they lied to is dead, though he was not the Jack. As everyone is discussing about the man's death, Chishiya tells Ippei that people are really starting to kill each other now, and he's unsure if they'll ever find the Jack at all. Again, Urumi's group meet in the cafeteria, and Chishiya & Ippei are seen eating together.
Soon, more and more people are tricking and killing each other. By round 6, Ippei is seen pacing around while Chishiya leans against a wall. Ippei goes to stand next to him, aksing why everyone keeps betraying each other. Chishiya tells him that nobody wants to die.
After a couple of more rounds, there's only 6 participants left. Ippei starts sobbing, saying that he doesn't think he can take any more rounds. Chishiya tells Ippei that his suit is a diamond, and Ippei sits down on the floor breathing heavily, asking how much longer until the game ends. Ippei says that he thought people were better than this. Chishiya tells him that he must've lived a charmed life, and that they might not get out of this alive. However, he says they have to help each other so they could both live. Chishiya crouches down near him, and says that they'd do this together. He asks Ippei what his suit is, and Ippei says it's a heart.
Soon, it's time to go back into solitary confinement. Despite Chishiya giving him a pep talk and telling him his suit, Ippei doesn't want to keep playing anymore. He refuses to try guessing his suit, and ultimately takes his own life. After everyone is let out of their cells, Chishiya pauses at Ippei's before saying he was too kind for this world.

Chippei is a more known rare pair in the fandom. The ship quickly gained attention by fans of the live-action, due to the fact that shortly after the game started the two teamed up and stayed a team for most of the game.
Chippei currently has 9 works on AO3 and has some following on Tiktok due to user @rainclouds's multiple posts on them.
