Chiuji is the het ship between Chigusa Busujima and Etsuji Odaka the Yandere Simulator fandom.

Canon

Story Mode (1989)

In the game, Etsuji has feelings for Chigusa. If Ryoba questions Etsuji, Ryoba learns that Etsuji loves Chigusa. Before the 9th week Etsuji will follow his normal routine, but when Chigusa arrives at the 9th week Etsuji and the other men will follow her, but unlike the other men, Etsuji will do it secretly and occasionally. On the other hand, if Ryoba kills Chigusa in front of Etsuji, Etsuji will apply his hero personality and try to neutralize Ryoba, but this is not special for Chigusa because Etsuji has a hero personality. If Etsuji is killed in front of Chigusa, Chigusa will run to Jokichi and tell him what happened. At the same time, Etsuji and Chigusa like two things: cats and solitude and they don't like three things: gossip, school, violence.

Ryoba also notes that Etsuji likes gravure models, which explains why Etsuji was interested in Chigusa.

If Ryoba wants to eliminate Chigusa through the matchmaker elimination method, Ryoba will advise Etsuji in terms of appearance and personality based on what Chigusa finds attractive. With this advice, Etsuji will apply the qualities that Chigusa finds attractive to his appearance and take a bolder stance for Chigusa. He will also give Chigusa the gift of the necklace Ryoba gave him. If Etsuji (and Ryoba) are successful in the matchmaking, Chigusa will write a letter to Etsuji, her new crush, instead of Jokichi on Friday, and when Etsuji finds the letter and comes to the sakura tree, he will reciprocate Chigusa new feelings and they will kiss together, and the next day they will hold hands together as a couple. They will come to school. İf Ryoba attacks and kills Etsuji while they are a couple together, Chigusa will attack Ryoba and try to neutralize her, even though her strength is low. When Chigusa and Etsuji become a couple, they will sit on a bench every day and show their love for each other.

Ryoba can kill one or both of them if she wants, or she can keep them both alive but not matchmaking them together, but since Chigusa's method of canon elimination is matchmaking, Ryoba matchmaking them canonically.

Story Mode (202X)

After the events of 1980s, Chigusa quit her job of being an idol. She did this because idols aren't allowed to be in relationships. Etsuji and Chigusa married and started a serious relationship.

Fanon

The Chiuji ship was created because Etsuji was Chigusa's suitor and Chigusa's method of canon elimination was matchmaking, and it is naturally the most popular ship for both characters, but it is still a side ship in the Yandere Simulator fandom because it is less popular in the 1989 mode fandom and both characters are not really cared for by the fandom. On the other hand, it does not have any rival ships from either side. Also, this ship has very little fan art and cannot offer any significant reason other than the canon elimination method of matchmaking between Etsuji and Chigusa. Although it has a small following, it seems more popular than other 1989 mode rival x suitor ships.
