ChloKim is the het ship between Chloé Bourgeois and Lê Chiến Kim from the Miraculous Ladybug fandom.
Canon[]
Chloé and Kim are students at Françoise Dupont High School in the Miss Bustier's class. They have very little interaction with each other outside of school, but there are times when both of them take part in some of the group activities and group get-togethers with the rest of their classmates.
At the start of the show, Kim is shown to have a crush on Chloé. However, her cruel nature and the crush she has on Adrien Agreste keep her from returning Kim's feelings. He confesses to her on Valentine's Day, but a number of things go wrong, including Kim accidentally kneeling in a puddle and being hit in the face with an empty bag of chips. Chloé just laughs at him and takes a picture, posting it to social media. She leaves, telling him that her heart belongs to someone "more awesome". This devastates Kim, leaving him open for akumatization by Hawk Moth. He becomes Dark Cupid, a villain who destroys love.
Even following this moment, Kim does not give up on his crush on Chloé. At Chloé's party, he asks her to dance and the two are seen together, even if it seems Chloé only agreed to make Adrien jealous. Later, he defends Chloé against her akumatized butler. In "Syren", he is shown to still have feelings for Chloé. He invites her to the movies, although she does not show up. Kim is disappointed by this, but decides to enjoy the movie with his other friends instead.
There have been times when Chloé takes advantage of Kim's feelings that have had him being loyalty to her. In season 5, it is revealed that Kim once worked with Chloé to bully Marinette. He doesn't seem to notice that what he did to Marinette was cruel, instead focusing on the fact that his crush, Chloé, had asked for his help.
Fanon[]
Chlokim is a rarepair in the fandom. This is likely due to Chloé's treatment of Kim throughout the show, how she only ever uses his feelings for her to her own advantage. Still, there are a number of fans that believe Kim could help redeem Chloé. As Kim started off the show as a bit of a jerk and has since become a nice guy and close friends with the other members of their class, Chlokim fans believe that he could help Chloé go through the same character development. However, most viewers of the show tend to dislike this ship, especially after the events of "Derision" in season 5.
Chlokim is most often rivalled by Kimdine and Chlonette. There are currently over 50 works for this ship on AO3.
