Choi "Thanos" Su-bong is a character from the Squid Game fandom.

Choi "Thanos" Su-bong joined the games after The Salesman invited him to play, while he was on a bridge, considering taking his own life. He is a failed rapper, who lost most of his money following the advice of Lee Myung-gi and buying into crypto-currency. Thanos is a known drug addict, often seen taking the ecstasy pills that he hides in his cross-shaped necklace. He is erratic and unpredictable, but can also be seen as a bully at times.

Choi Su-bong, or also known as Thanos, is very popular in the fandom. Fans love to joke about his drug pills and his attitude towards the game, as unlike other players he seems to not be scared and even enjoys himself(at least when he takes the pills..). People also love his english phrases that he throws around ocassionally, with the most memed ones being, "Gyeong-su, you're out!" and, "Open the door!". His scenes also got to become memes, with the most prominent ones being his rapping for Mi-na and his pleads towards Min-su in the bathroom. Videos on Tiktok like to parody his banging on the door when pleading with Min-su to open the door most videos being made in real life or on Roblox. His dance with Nam-gyu during Mingle also became very popular which started various trends on Tiktok.
One of the most popular jokes about his character has to do with the fork that was used to kill him. There are plenty of memes and animations regarding him and the fork, with most people shipping him and the fork in a funny matter.
