Chryslestia is the femslash ship between Queen Chrysalis and Princess Celestia from the My Little Pony fandom.

Canon

Season 2

Before the events of „A Canterlot Wedding", Chrysalis took on the role of Princess Cadance, meaning that Princess Celestia treated her like her niece and was very happy that she will marry Shining Armor. Chrysalis managed to charm Celestia so much that she even reprimanded her student Twilight Sparkle, who sensed the trick. When the truth is revealed, Celestia wants to stop Chrysalis and attack her, but Chrysalis' magic, which was took from Shining Armor's love for Cadance, helps her defeat the Princess. The Changeling Queen was schoked that she could defeat Equestria's most powerful pony. Then she captured her with her cocoon, but Shining Armor and Cadance defeat her with their love. The Queen sent far away, and Princess Celestia was released and officiated the wedding.

Season 6

In the „To Where and Back Again", Chrysalis and her minions captured all ponies from Equestria and put them in cocoons, which includes also Princess Celestia. They were saved thanks to Thorax's betreyal, who showed friendship magic to other changellings. After being rescued, Celestia, her sister Luna, and other powerful ponies attempt to defeat the Queen, but she flees, swearing revenge. While most ponies are surprised, Celestia looks sad about this.

Season 9

In the „The Ending of the End", Celestia is horrified to learn of Discord's plan to bring Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy Glow back, just to give Twilight a boost of confidence, realizing the power of these three. When the Legion of Doom gets to the castle, they kidnaps everyone gathered there, including Celestia. However, Discord provokes Tirek, which leads to the release of the ponies from their cells. Chrysalis attacks Starlight with magic, which causes a burn on her back, but Celestia protects the unicorn from the Queen and they fight once again. Because former Queen of Changeling and the other two villains have taken away Royal Sisters’ powers, Celestia is too weak and is trapped again.

When the magic of friendship manages to deprive most of the power of the Legion of Doom, Celestia, together with her sister and Discord, punish Chrysalis by turning her into a stone statue together with Tirek and Cozy Glow. Moments before being grounded, Chrysalis tries to attack the princesses one last time, but she failed. Celestia looks sad again, probably due to failed villains resocialization, but a moment later she smiles to Luna.

Comics

In the „The Return of Queen Chrysalis", which takes place shortly after the wedding in Canterlot, Chrysalis admits that she no longer cares about Celestia and that her target is now Twilight Sparkle. At the end of the comic, when Chrysalis is defeated, Celestia appears and asks Twilight where the Queen of the Changeling is now.

In the „Siege of the Crystal Empire” Chrysalis teams up with King Sombra and a few other minor villains and attack Crystal Empire. Celestia and Luna arrive to stop them, but they are turned into a stone statue, which make Chrysalis' amusement.

In the „My Little Pony: FIENDship is Magic Issue #5” Chrysalis reveals her past to Mane 6. She and her minions attacked the city of Troy, but Princess Celestia appeared to stop her. This is when Chrysalis gets the characteristic holes on her legs. After the fight, Chrysalis is thrown into a volcano. Being exhausted, she wonders why the princess didn't turn her to stone, as she does with her enemies.

Fanon

Chryslestia is medium popular ship. Has some fanarts and fanfctions. Shippers like the „toxic yuri" dynamic between these two, although some also try to show Celestia reforming Chrysalis. In the past, there was also a quite popular trend: „Brolestia" and „Dorkalis", in which these two were roomates and, depending on the artist, friends or a couple.
