ChuuAku is the slash ship between Chuuya Nakahara and Ryuunosuke Akutagawa from the Bungou Stray Dogs fandom.
Canon[]
Despite being co-workers and Chuuya mentioning Akutagawa several times, they only have one interaction during the film "Dead Apple", where after the battle Akutagawa goes where Chuuya was, Chuuya asks what he was doing there and says that Dazai was fine, Akutagawa bows in thanks and Chuuya tells him to give him his shoulder.
Drama CD[]
On the Drama CD "Kaji, Chuuya and Akutagawa", Chuuya questions about the noises that Kaji is making, questioning Akutagawa saying that the day has just begun, and Akutagawa just agrees, after Kaji says he would put a lemon bomb in the package and deliver it to Dazai, Chuuya says that detectives would not fall in love so easily, and Akutagawa says that it would be easier to eliminate them, to which Chuuya says that this is also a bit much, after Kaji sujere them to practice as the scene would be. Chuuya asks if Akutagawa understood everything, to which Akutagawa is confused, and Kaji says it is the package for Dazai, so Akutagawa delivers the package to Chuuya who is confused. After Chuuya tries to imitate Dazai, Akutagawa says that Dazai is completely different from his imitation, Chuuya is surprised that Akutagawa finds this and asks and it was so different. Akutagawa complains about having done Atsushi, and Chuuya is surprised to say that he didn't notice. Chuuya then has to act like a girl, Akutagawa says he was touched by his performance, and Chuuya says this is a relief, after comments from Kaji Akutagawa says again that he found Chuuya's acting incredible, to which Chuuya gets emotional and says his name in happiness, but soon afterwards he changes the subject to disguise his emotion. After Chuuya suggests to Kaji that they go for something to eat, and Akutagawa says he will go along.
In the other Drama CD called "Welcome to The Hot Springs!", Chuuya and Akutagawa are going to a bathroom to do Akutagawa's medical treatments, along with Higuchi, Kaji, Tachihara and Hirotsu. Akutagawa says that this treatment is unnecessary and that what he needs most is an enemy worthy of Dazai's recognition, and Chuuya tells him to relax a little and that his enemy is now the hot springs. When they are going to the bathroom, Chuuya asks why Akutagawa is standing hesitating, and Akutagawa says he should go later, to which Chuuya interprets that he is not going to enter. Akutagawa says he seems to have caught a cold, and Chuuya tells him that he is being selfish and childish. Chuuya tells him not to make up another excuse, and calls everyone to put Akutagawa in the bath. Chuuya says Akutagawa's hot springs are good, and Akutagawa says he can't be comfortable, Akutagawa puts a foot in the water and says it's over, and Chuuya gets angry telling him to take a right shower and dive down to his shoulders. After Akutagawa enters, Chuuya asks how he feels, he says he feels wet, and Chuuya says this is what would make him feel good. Chuuya tells them to wash and asks if Akutagawa brought the soap, Akutagawa says no and Chuuya tells him not to say it with pride. Chuuya says his soap is here and says he is going to wash it himself, Akutagawa accepts and Chuuya tells him that he is no longer a child and Chuuya shouldn't have to take care of him, Akutagawa apologizes and Chuuya says that everything is fine . After a while Akutagawa says he is going to leave, and Chuuya says it is Akutagawa's turn now and asks him to wash his back. Chuuya says that after they finish, Akutagawa has to get into the bathtub above his shoulders, and count to 10 before he can leave, Akutagawa complains that he is not a child, and Chuuya says that he is causing more problems than a child, and that counting to 10 was also an order from his executive. In the end Chuuya wonders why he went so far for Akutagawa, unaware of how much akutagawa hates baths.

Although they only have interactions on the Drama CD and some on Bungou Stray Dogs Wan, ChuuAku is one of the most popular ships in the fandom. They are usually shipped alongside Dazatsu as both are rival ships of the most common pairs, Soukoku and Shin Soukoku.
