Citrus Squad is the friendship between Orange Cookie, Lime Cookie, Lemon Cookie and Grapefruit Cookie from the Cookie Run fandom.

The four of them are close friends who hang out with each other. They all have a cheer squad, called the Citrus Squad in Cookie Run: Ovenbreak.
Lemon Cookie and Orange Cookie are childhood friends, confirmed by Orange Cookie's relationship chart quote about him. According to Lemon Cookie's in-game description, "In his childhood, Lemon Cookie had the only friend, who was always fascinated with his cube tricks. When Lemon Cookie couldn't control his power and became a danger to other Cookies, this friend was the only one to be there for him". Lime Cookie is usually jealous of their friendship, since Orange Cookie is the only cookie she has a weak spot for and is implied to have a crush on, which can cause a rather uncomfortable situation between them.
Orange Cookie still thinks that Lime Cookie is cute and hangs out with her, appearing in alot of official content as a duo in contrast to the other squad members, and Lemon Cookie doesn't seem to mind Lime Cookie's jealousy. Grapefruit Cookie, on the other hand, doesn't has a relationship chart about the other Citrus Squad members except for Orange, where she says she doesn't gets what's so fun about hitting a ball - a reference to Orange's tennis hobby. Orange Cookie says that Grapefruit Cookie hangs around, but they don't talk too much. However, in official artwork she seemed to be with the others fairly often. They also participated in a official Halloween Special event in Cookie Run: Ovenbreak in 2018, where they all wear Halloween costumes. Lemon Cookie's costume, the God of Lightning, was suggested by Orange Cookie. To impress Orange Cookie, Lime Cookie decided to wear a Mermaid costume. In Happy Cookie Festival, they do not have interactions together, but they all interacted individually. Apparently, they are all fans of Sour Belt Cookie, since they all have a relationship chart about her and her fashion sense. This is also seen in Super Fashion Week, when the four of them are wearing Sour Belt's designs.

Citrus Squad is one of the most popular poly ships within the franchise alongside Juice Bar Regulars. Majority of the fandom also prefers this as a poly ship, but it is still mostly seen as a friendship because Grapefruit is implied to be a child. They also seem to win polls on what quartet is better, since most people now think Juice Bar Regulars is very overrated. However, this ship's popularity only seems to apply to the OvenBreak fandom, one of the games in the Cookie Run franchise. Their ships with each other are also fairly popular as well, especially OrangeLime and LemonOrange, who have a rivalry, but don't have alot of ship fights in the fandom. A lot of people like to think Lemon and Grapefruit are OrangeLime shippers, which is mostly seen in fanfictions. Most fan arts seem to depict them hanging together and showcasing their constrast in personality. They have alot of fanart, but they don't seem to have alot of works in AO3 as a poly ship instead of their individual ships with each other, a result of how the fandom usually views them.
It is unknown where the ship name 'Citrus Squad' originated, though it may have been taken from the fact their own cheer squad is named Citrus Squad. This is also one of the older ships of Cookie Run, its year of origin being around 2018. Before LINE Cookie Run closed, or the time when Grapefruit Cookie wasn't introduced yet, there was a ship called the Citrus Trio. It consisted of Lemon, Lime and Orange Cookie. After Grapefruit Cookie was released, many shippers decided to bring her into the ship, officially forming the Citrus Squad.

Trivia[]
- So far, Grapefruit Cookie is the only Citrus Cookie not to be from LINE Cookie Run, as she is made entirely for Cookie Run: OvenBreak.
- Orange Cookie was the first of the four Cookies released into Cookie Run: OvenBreak to be based on fruits of the Major Hybrid Citrus Fruit Group, followed by Lemon, Grapefruit, and Lime Cookie as the last.
- Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime and Orange all have special ingredients specifically made for them, which are also based on their own flavors, and all have exclusive quotes when given as a gift.
- Back in 2018, they had a Halloween event mainly centered around them, and they also had 4 costumes for each member which were released in addition to the update.
- On Gingerbrave's Official Twitter Account, he referenced Lemon and Orange Cookie with Lemon and Tangerine emojis, and Lime was referenced with a Green Heart emoji, as there was no official lime emoji. Interestingly, Grapefruit wasn't referenced in emojis like the other three were, despite being in the post.
