Clairgana is the femslash ship between Claire Nuñez and Morgana from the Tales of Arcadia fandom.

Trollhunters

After Claire became aware of Trolls and met the Pale Lady's Trollhunter assassin, she becomes the new owner of Morgana's Shadow Staff. Morgana's connection to that staff is what allowed her to link herself with Claire, after she use used the staff's shadow magic to save the good trolls. While Morgana seeks to help Gunmar in order to get what she wants. The trance Morgana places Claire in to do her bidding it what kept the later from knowing that she is being used as a puppet against her friends, even though Claire has been getting some flashbacks and other kind of hints to that fact, but didn't put them together until Morgana revealed herself to her. Morgana found it amusing that Claire tried to stand up to her before the said possesses Claire's body and sends her soul to the Shadow Realm. Morgana separating Claire's soul from her body had placed her in a dream-like trance, until Jim and Toby woke her up; but Morgana took control of her staff to keep them from returning Claire back to her body. Claire on the other hand wasn't going to let Morgana win and use both her control over the staff and the link she has with Morgana to take it from her while stating that it is hers, as she reclaims her body from Morgana. The next time Claire entered the Shadow Realm, she begins to have visions of Morgana's memories and her loyal assassin telling Claire to give Jim a message from him; revealing that some parts of Morgana had stayed with Claire after her possession.

What Morgana had done to Claire has caused the teenage girl to resent her. After Claire came across the freed Morgana she battles the witch to make her pay for what she put her through. Morgana came close to winning after she hurt Claire's lover, but Claire manages to beat Morgana by sealing her in the Shadow Realm. Morgana tries to pull Claire into the portal with her, but with help from Claire's friends she manages to Morgana's grasps and destroys the staff to ensure that she remains trapped forever.

When Claire accidently got trapped in the past with Douxie, Jim and Steve, she comes across past Morgana and learns that she was once a kind person. While her experience with Morgana's present self kept her from fulling trusting Past Morgana. Who saw Claire using shadow magic to save a troll and her goal to help those of magic has her taking Claire in as a handmaiden, so she can keep her safe from Arthur's wrath. As much as Morgana hated her brother's ruthless law and view on magic, Claire was able to see that Morgana still cares about him and shares the negative thoughts she once had for her own brother with Morgana, in hope that they'll help her become close with Arthur. After Claire failed to mend their sibling bond, Morgana does help Claire to save the caged creatures in Arthur's dungeon. Morgana's actions, as well as her willing to cover for her surprised Claire at how different this Morgana is to the one she met in the percent. Claire's action also changed the timeline as the Merlin's Time Map shows her a possible future in the past that has Morgana as the hero, once she and Arthur make amends. Knowing that they have to fix the timeline they damaged and the chance to prevent Morgana from becoming a villain, has Claire and the others trying to make those events happen. As Claire joins Morgana with Arthur's hunting party for the escaped trolls, Claire learns a few more things Morgana's past character and the childhood she shared with Arthur and Gwen. Along wit them ensuring that Arthur or his knights don't find any of the good trolls. Morgana helping Claire to save Jim from Arthur, however, had caused Morgana to defy Arthur and started to become the villain; despite how close Claire and Douxie were to saving Morgana from herself. Claire fighting Morgana's shadow clone kept her from saving Morgana when her fight with Arthur causes her to fall over the edge of a cliff.

The events of that day and her new powers causes Claire to fear that she'll end up just like Morgana, and has nightmares of her. Douxie, however, ensure Claire that she isn't Morgana and that she can master her magic without going down the same path Morgana took. During Claire's first lesson, she as visions of Morgana's face. Claire's second training lesson allows her to learn that Morgana is alive and is planning to attack Arthur, but Claire made sure that Morgana's plan failed. When they met at the Battle of Killahead Claire had already excepted the fact that they are enemies again, as she helps Douxie fight her. As Morgana is being sealed away, Claire tells her that they'll meet again centuries later. Claire felt relieved when Morgana was defeat before she and her friends return to their home time, but the Arcane Order capture Claire's lover in order to revive Morgana. Who has been reflecting on her pasts after Claire sealed her in the Shadow Realm and didn't want to fight the Arcane Order's battles again.

Like Merlin, Morgana remembers Claire and the past events they met in as she calls Claire "Handmaid" when she saw her in the Shadow Realm. Despite what Claire did to Morgana in past and present, she wishes to help Claire fight the Arcane Order and save Arthur (who the Order has been turned into the Green Knight) from them. Just as Claire wishes to save Jim from Arthur's control hold on him. Morgana had doubts about Claire as she tries to save Jim, but Claire was tempted to prove her wrong. Morgana choosing to help Claire had made her an enemy of the Arcane Order and when the two joined the rest of the Guardians of Arcadia at Hex Tech, Claire reassures them that Morgana can be trusted. She proves this as she tries to help Claire and her friends fight the Arcane Order, but they all end up being captured by them. After Douxie saved them, Morgana chose to not join Claire in their escape so she could amend the actions of her past, by facing the corrupted Arthur and allows herself to died to keep her corrupted brother from hurting anyone else. Morgana's sacrifice is what allowed Claire to finally get through to Jim, as after Arthur died with Morgana so did the controlling hold he had on Jim's mind.

• When Claire returned to Arcadia with Morgana's former teacher, Merlin she learns that Morgana was his best student before she went down a dark path during a time when wielders and creatures of magic were hunted down by Morgana's half brother, King Arthur.

Due to the antagonist relationship they formed in Trollhunters, fans commonly depict them as enemies until the past and present events of Wizards shows both Claire and viewers another side to Morgana. There are theories that Morgana is the reason for Claire's new shadow magic, along with the brief bond Claire formed with Morgana in the past is what helped the later to redeem herself. Morgana calling Claire her "child" had inspired a few fans to portray Claire as Morgana's descendant, for fun. Since the age gap between the two has fans preferring to ship them as friends or frenemies.

On AO3, the ship only has 15 gen fanfics. Clairgana is also one of the nicknames fans use to reference the time Claire was possessed by Morgana, and commonly use Claire!Morgana in Dark AU's that have Claire not being freed from the witch's hold on her body or mind.
