Claus & Flint & Lucas is the family ship between Claus, Flint, and Lucas from the EarthBound fandom.

Canon

On the night the fire broke out in Sunshine Forest, Flint joined the other villagers in searching for Hinawa, Lucas and Claus. Eventually the twins are found, and Flint finally reunites with them, both of them dashing into a hug when they see their dad. After Flint starts lashing out in response to Hinawa's death, Tessie covers the twins' eyes.

On Lucas's way to the final Needle, Flint tells Lucas that he's discovered the Masked Man is Claus, though Lucas might have already known. During the battle, Flint jumps in front of Lucas to protect him from the Masked Man's PK Love. After its conclusion, Flint asks Lucas to forgive his hasty brother.

Fanon

Common alternate universes centered around the three include what could have happened if Claus didn't leave, or if Flint was able to find him before he was mauled by the Drago. Some Post-game restoration AUs make it so the Dark Dragon was able to bring back Claus, but not Hinawa. Both scenarios explore what life might have been like without Hinawa. It would likely be rough without her, as she was the balance in their family dynamic. Often, Flint tries to mend the relationships with both his sons back to something proper.

Flint is thought to have influenced his sons in different ways following Hinawa's death. The following are a couple interpretations. When Flint lashes out at the Tazmily villagers upon hearing the news, Claus sees it and thinks it's okay to take that approach and lash out against the Drago that killed her. When Flint keeps to himself looking for Claus everyday and not sharing anything, Lucas sees that and bottles up everything inside him as well.

Flint also shows a way he cares about his sons when he battles the Mecha-Drago. At the end of the fight, Flint goes to deal the final blow, but Alec tells him not to do it, because he'll make the Drago's child go through the same thing Claus and Lucas did. Flint sheaths his weapon, and steps forward, although it's left ambiguous whether he was going to kill it after all, or just see if it's okay. Either intention shows a different way Flint cares about his sons. Either that he wanted to kill the Drago to protect them from any potential harm, or he just can't do it because it will pain the baby Drago in the same way his sons are hurting over their mom's death.

Some fans think that Claus and Lucas will end up being bald like Flint, or grow a handlebar mustache like his. It is also a common headcanon that Flint is quite tall and Claus and Lucas will grow to match his height.
