Clauvia is the het ship between Claud and Silvia from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Claud and Silvia are two playable characters in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War.
They are both descendants of the crusader Bragi and both inherit holy blood from him (major for Claud and minor for Silvia. According to official materials they are distant cousins. Claud was the duke of Edda (a part of the Grannvale kingdom) and a priest of the Bragi Church. Silvia was orphan who was adopted by a cruel man who raised her to become a dancer. It is stated that her adoptive father often hit her, and she finally fled. She meets Lewyn, develops a crush on him and decides to follow him.
Some time after Lewyn and Silvia decide to join Sigurd (a noble from Grannvale) and become part of his army. One day when Sigurd's army was engaged in the Agustrian Civil War, Claud came to warn Sigurd that the Prince of Grannvale has been murdered and that Sigurd's family has been blamed for this. Claud then goes to the Bragi Tower to discover the truth behind Prince Kurth's death, so he finds the Valkyrie Staff. After leaving, he encounters Sigurd during a battle against the Orgahill Pirates and enlists in his army. He joins Sigurd's army when they flee to Silesse to escape Grannvale's forces who were trying to kill Sigurd, who has been branded as a traitor, and during this journey he meets Silvia.
At Silesse in Chapter 4, Claud and Silvia have a conversation. Silvia introduces herself to Claud, who remarks that she is wearing small clothes and asks her if everything is alright. This makes Silvia upset and she answers that they just the dancer clothes. Claud says that he is worried that she could be chilled to the bone. Silvia answers that she is never cold. Then Clauds ask if she likes dancing and if her parents agree with her career. She answers that she loves dancing and reveals her past, she was an orphan who had learn to dance from a master who was always beating her and that she run away. Claud is horrified and then say to Silvia that she remind him his missing sister. Silvia comments that Claud's sister was probably like a princess pretty and classy nothing like her. Claud affirms that he found Silvia utterly charming and that in her own way she possesses a unique grace and beauty. Silvia says that nobody has never told her something like that. If Silvia reaches enough love points with Claud, they will wed.
In Chapter 5, Sigurd and his army return to Grannvale to clear his name. If Silvia and Claud are married, they will have a special conversation. Claud ask Silvia to left their army because it's to dangerous. Silvia refuse arguing that she can't left him. The conversation ends with Claud supplying Silvia to go in safety.
Claud is killed along most of the army in the Belhalla Massacre. However, Silvia survives and leaves her two children, Coirpre and Lene, at an orphanage. Lene became a dancer hoping to find her mother and inherits her inventory. Coirpre is adopted by a Thracian general, became a priest, and inherits his biological father's inventory. After the war, Coirpre becomes the duke of Edda like his father before him.

Clauvia is the most popular ship for both Claud and Silvia. Players often choose to pair Silvia with Claud in the game. It's principally shipped for strategic purposes: Claud will give good stats to both Coirpre and Lene, and both kids will get a major Bragi Holy blood (and the grown stats bonus that come with), Claud will be able to pass staves to Coirpre including the useful Valkyrie Staff and the major Holy Blood to use it. Coirpre is one of the two only children that can use Valkyrie. Clauvia is also liked for the contrast between a serious priest and an energetic dancer. It's also liked because Silvia is Claud's love interest that has the most interaction with him.
On Claud's side, the two main rivals are Claud x Erinys or Claud x Tailitu. The first is mainly shipped for strategic purpose both Fee and Ced will get good magic stats and staffs rank, won't lack Pursuit skills since they already got it by their mother, and that Ced is the only child other than Coirpre that can inherit and use Valkyrie; however Fee will get low strength ( a stat important for her). The second is also shipped for strategic purpose since both Arthur and Tine will get good magic stats; however Arthur will have major Bragi blood and the Valkyrie Staff in his inventory but he will never be able to use it since he has a class that can't use staff, the player who pair Claud with Tailitu also like to pair them for story purposes. Another rival is Claudain shipped by players who want to focus on Lana, however Lester didn't get advantage from this pairing.
On Silvia's side the main rival is Lewyn x Silvia. With this pairing, both kids will get the skills Critical and Adept, good stats, and Coirpre will inherits the powerful tome Forseti. It's also supported by in-game canon. Azelle x Silvia is sometimes chosen because both kids will get the Pursuit skill and Coirpre will get good magic stats. The players who want to focus on Lene prefer to pair Silvia with Chulainn or Dew, both of whom will give Lene a useful skill exclusive to infantry sword using units and give her better stats to fight (especially the first). Another part of the fandom also likes to pair Silvia with Alec mainly for their interactions.

- In the manga adaptations by Mitsuki Oosawa and in the one by Nea Fuyuki Silvia and Claud are married.
- The conversation between Claud and Silvia has made players assume that she's his long-lost sister due to the similarities in their stories and their shared Holy Blood, but according to the artbook they're distant cousins.
