Clawen is the het ship between Owen Grady and Claire Dearing from the Jurassic Park fandom.
Canon[]
Jurassic World[]
Claire and Owen are both employees at Jurassic World. Claire is the park operations manager, and Owen is a former member of the United States Navy, recruited to Jurassic World to work as an animal behaviorist. His specialty is raptors, and his assignment is to see if they can follow orders well enough to be deployed on the battlefield for the US Army. Owen has a very loose, laidback personality. Claire, on the other hand, is very Type A and controlling. She is shown at the beginning of the film to have very little time or regard for her family members, whereas Owen is portrayed as a very caring "father" to his group of raptors.
While preparing to introduce a new hybrid species of dinosaur to the park, the Indominous Rex, Claire is asked to bring Owen for his expertise. She visits him at his home, and the two immediately trade insults. It is revealed that they had previously gone on a date together, but the date had ended badly and they had not agreed to a second one. Owen joins her at the paddock, but the dinosaur soon escapes. Claire and Owen must work together to survive, before returning to the control room. There, Claire discovers that her nephews are stuck on the Gyrosphere ride while the Indominous is rampaging through the park. Owen agrees to join her as they set out to look for the boys. However, he makes sure to point out that Claire is hardly dressed for a trek through the forested areas of the park.
While running from the Indominous Rex, the pair end up on Main Street. There, Owen is attacked by a Dimorphodon. Claire saves his life and, as thanks, Owen passionately kisses her. They, along with Claire's nephews, end up bringing down the Indominous with the help of Jurassic World's T-rex. Owen and Claire are later seen on the mainland, discussing what will happen next. Owen suggests that they should stick together "for safety", and the pair walk away together.

Clawen is the most popular ship in the Jurassic Park fandom on AO3. Fans enjoyed the chemistry between the two actors, and the "Opposites Attract" elements of their personality. They also enjoyed watching the relationship grow over the course of the first film (and then again over the course of the second), in comparison to a ship like Grantler which was pre-established.
