CloudX is the non-binary ship between Cloudy and X from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Cloudy is the only one on team BEEP to attempt getting the basket. Cloudy tries to pull X's basket towards him, but the effort proves to be too slow. Balloony get's impatient and takes over in doing so. Cloudy managed to get the basket close enough to the staircase so Balloony could be able to use his air to launch himself and the basket to X.
During team BEEP's first Cake at Stake ceremony, Cloudy asks Four where X is and is only told "burn center". Later when X returns, Cloudy says he noticed he was gone when Four convinces X that nobody was looking for him.
X accidentally reads the vote count for Free Food backwards. X is saddened as they messed up their first Cake at Stake. Cloudy is the only person to console him when he feels bad about it as Eraser, one of the only people there, makes fun of X, sarcastically saying it's a good prank.
X notices Cloudy sitting by a tree and asks him what's wrong. Cloudy explains to him that he misses Balloony, briefly becoming hopeful that X can revive Balloony but is saddened when X says he doesn't know how to bring people back. Hearing an alarm clock ring, X figures that they should start Cake at Stake and starts making his way there. He whispers to Cloudy before it starts that he's safe to make him feel better. During the ceremony, Cloudy just wants to get it over with and X does so after pausing for a few seconds. He announces Cloudy being the first one safe and throws a slice of cake at him and the other safe team members. Cloudy later tells Match that X is incapable of recovery when she asks around for someone to bring Bubble back.
When the Four Colored Team from Battle for BFB tries to take X away, Cloudy becomes upset along with the majority of the TPOT crew. He calls back to the time when X was there for him when Balloony was dead and begs them not to take him away. Cloudy cheers when X is glued down so he can remain hosting for TPOT but is angered when he is lassoed away.

Fandom[]
Many of the show's fans have appreciated the relatively wholesome connection between the two. This is evident by the way X and Cloudy comforted each other during distress as it was not common for BFDI hosts at the time. Fan art and videos often joke about Cloudy's pronunciation of X as "eggs" due to his thick accent as well as the two's care for each other. The pairing is not as popular nowadays due to their moments mainly being in pre-split BFB although their friendship is still remembered especially on Cloudy's side. In a romantic sense, some ship art exists and is mainly rivaled by ships such as Balloudy, 4x, and Xnut.
