Cloudka is the friend ship between Cloudjumper and Valka from the How to Train Your Dragon fandom.

Canon

As revealed in How to Train Your Dragon 2, Cloudjumper and Valka first met when Cloudjumper took part in a dragon raid on the island of Berk. Valka lived there with her family, and she briefly believed that Cloudjumper meant to harm her young son Hiccup. However, she soon realized that Cloudjumper was acting out of curiosity, and so she chose not to attack him. The two formed an instant and deep bond, sensing one another as kindred spirits. Unfortunately, Cloudjumper reacted to this by abducting Valka and carrying her to the home of a Bewilderbeast, the king of dragons.

Not believing that the Viking residents of Berk would ever accept that dragons could be peaceful, Valka chose to remain with Cloudjumper. For the next twenty years the pair formed a formidable partnership, protecting other dragons from dragon hunters such as those led by the ruthless Drago Bludvist. Then, following a raid on one of Drago's outposts, the pair ran into another dragon rider and his Night Fury mount. Valka and Cloudjumper, with the aid of other dragons from their nest, managed to subdue the two, only to discover that the rider was none other than Valka's own son Hiccup.

In How to Train Your Dragon 3, the two would look on as Hiccup led the younger dragons riders in a mission against more dragon hunters, with Valka reassuring an apparently anxious Cloudjumper. Later, while checking for signs of pursuit after the inhabitants of Berk had relocated, the pair were attacked by Grimmel the Grisly's Deathgrippers, and quickly fled back to Berk to warn the others. Valka and Cloudjumper later took part in an operation against Grimmel, helping to save Hiccup after things went poorly. When the dragons all departed for the Hidden World so that they would be safe from hunters, Valka and Cloudjumper shared a heartfelt farewell before separating.

Fanon

Outside of her relationship with her husband Stoick and her son Hiccup, Valka's relationship with Cloudjumper is easily her most significant. The two spent many years together, and they are capable of communicating with each other despite not speaking the same language. Cloudka is in a sense a prototypical version of Toothcup, having been established many years prior to Hiccup and Toothless' relationship and serving as foreshadowing of the kind of bond the younger human and dragon would achieve. Sadly, there is no indication that, after their parting at the conclusion of The Hidden World, Valka and Cloudjumper were able to meet again as Hiccup and Toothless did.

There are 73 works tagged for the relationship on AO3, 10+ of which are rated Mature or Explicit. This puts it well ahead of other friendships tagged for Valka on the site. However, it falls behind Stalka and Valccup, each of which has a few hundred ships to their name.
