The Hidden Enemy[]
Cody and Rex get orders from Obi-Wan and Anakin to stay behind and try to find out who let their intel slip out. Cody then sees that a comlink is on, and that someone has been listening to their entire conversation. Rex sees someone run down the hall, and Cody and him run after them. They split up to try and follow, but only end up running into each other outside the mess. Rex assumes that the trooper went inside, and they open the door to nothing but clones.
Rex can't believe that one of their own would betray them to the separatists, but even harder is trying to figure out which one. Cody says that they'll have to keep it to themselves while they wait for the traitors next move. Rex says that they should contact the Jedi, and Cody goes to do so, only to find that their comms have been jammed. Rex has R2 plug in, and Cody asks what he's doing. Rex says that the message to the Sith got out somehow and Cody sarcastically asks if he wrote a note. But, Rex says that they have to start somewhere.
R2 finds something and Cody asks if it's the traitor. Rex isn't sure, and Cody asks what R2 is looking for. Rex points the frequency interferences, and how they show up every few days and then disappear. R2 lets out a series of beeps, and Cody asks what he said. Rex says that the interference only comes from one terminal, and Cody sees that it belongs to the one in Slick's barracks. Rex says that Slick's not gonna like that one of his men might be a traitor, and Cody agrees. However, if one of them is a traitor, then they're going to need to sort things out.
They start investigating the troops when Slick lets it slip that he knew that the Jedi were gone. Cody asks how he would know that, but Slick just punches him back, Rex catching him as Slick escapes. They follow him, unable to believe that Slick is the traitor. They search the base, until Rex gets an alert by the gunships and Cody says that Slick will want to leave the base. They follow the tracker only to find it a bomb, the two quickly jumping aside to avoid the blasts. Cody says that Slick took out the whole weapons depot and Rex says that he knew where they'd look. He doesn't want to leave, and Cody says that he knows all his move before they make them.
They're informed that Slick was spotted in the command center, and the two make their way there. Cody asks how Slick would think, and Rex says that he would want to leave, but can't use the ship. Cody realizes that Slick is in the vents, and silently indicates it to Rex. They trick him into thinking that Rex is leaving and are able to confront him. They get into a fight, with Cody able to knock him out and Rex taking him into custody.
Rookies[]
Cody and Rex arrive at the Rishi Outpost, and Cody calls in for a response. They realize that there is something off from the communication, and Cody says that Rex is in charge of this one. The two arrive on the moon, and notice that no one is there. As a "clone" steps out of the outpost, Cody says that he has a bad feeling about the situation, putting him and Rex immediately on high alert. A flare goes off behind them, and Rex shoots the "clone" in front of them. Cody asks what he's doing, but Rex tells him to relax, removing the helmet to reveal that it was a commando droid. He suggests that the flare came from the survivors, just when they're ambushed by more droids. They fight and are able to get away as their ship is destroyed.
Rex says that things are now complicated with their ship destroyed, but Cody says that it's no worse than Tibren. Rex reminds him that they had Jedi with them then, and stops Cody from moving towards the wreckage. They notice three clones walking towards them and raise their weapons. Rex orders them to remove their helmets just as a giant eal pops out of the ground. Rex kills it, and Cody and Rex introduce themselves to the other clones, Fives, Hevy and Echo.
They climb back up towards the outpost, and Rex tells the other troops that they're going to take it back. Cody asks how Rex plans to get through the blast doors, and Rex says that he has an idea.
