Coinleaf is the het ship between Coiny and Leafy from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
On a boat, Leafy tells Coiny she feels bad for leaving the rest of the team behind, but Coiny shrugs it off and starts their motor. Later as their boat flies into the air, Coiny informs Ice Cube and Leafy that they flew past the finish line. They scream as they hit a tree and upon landing in a lake, Coiny expresses his disdain. The three make a run for it to the finish line when they notice the other team getting close.
Coiny is up for elimination and decides to give a speech to Leafy and her team to convince them to let him stay in the competition. His speech ended up not getting well received by everybody. This was mainly due to Coiny asking them to let him stay so he could win. With no redeeming qualities in sight, Leafy picks Tennis Ball and causes Coiny to get eliminated from the first season.
In the finale, Coiny thinks that Leafy should win between the three finalists. Coiny also slaps Needle when she goes against everybody else and votes for Firey to win the game. Leafy is amazed that Firey let Coiny onto Dream Island due to their past. She then quickly becomes shocked when he let him onto Dream Island over her, despite the fact Coiny is his enemy.
Leafy is about to throw a knife at Coiny and Fries but is horrified when she sees Coiny taking breaths in deep fried water. She looks down and returns to hiding in a bush.
Leafy joins The Losers! in Battle for BFDI in exchange for Pin's Gratitude token. Coiny is the first to welcome her to the team. Coiny says it's been a long time since the two have met each other and gives a warm welcome to the team.
After Firey yells that Leafy stole Dream Island her team all get relatively mad at her. Coiny is shown to be frustrated that stealing dream island is still being held against Leafy. Later whilst the rest of the team are complaining about Leafy, Coiny approaches a sulking Leafy who immediately stops doing so as Coiny gets her attention. They then hold a short conversation about Leafy's emotions, he then asks Leafy if she wants to accompany him and the rest of their team to get Four to recover their dead teammates, and she happily accepts. Whilst Four recovers the team they are seen standing next to each other.

- Coiny is part of the mob chasing Leafy after she steals Dream Island.
- Coiny asks Leafy if it's true her cake caused Needle to become photorealistic. Leafy tells him she didn't know.
- Coiny and the rest of the team are upset at Leafy for accidentally revealing to Clock how long he was forgotten by them.
Fanon[]
Coinleaf is one of the more popular pairings involving the two characters. Coiny display of kindness even during one of Leafy's toughest hardships with everyone else caused some fans to become interested in their dynamic, such as Coiny's welcome and confronting her during an outrage between her and others. Fan art and fan fiction revolving around the ship usually show Coiny treating Leafy well and later returning the feeling, or just affection between them. Firepin is often paired with Coinleaf since it is the inverse in terms of the four. It's main rival pairings are Fireafy, Leafpin, Coinpin, and Fireoiny.
On AO3, the ship has eight works under the platonic tag and one under the romantic tag. It is the third most written ship for Coiny and the sixth most for Leafy.
