Coinpinut is the poly ship between Coiny, Pin, and Donut from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Battle for Dream Island Again[]
While forming new teams for the season, Coiny switches to Donut's team who originally was the sole member of the team. As Coiny and Donut then ask for Pin to switch over, she eventually does so when everyone starts chanting for her to do so. For the contest, Coiny, Pin, and Donut are heavily outnumbered in the tug of war match and end up losing within seconds.
While Coiny tries to get an uncooperative Donut to help him think of a team name, Pin approaches them after Donut walks away. One of her ideas is "The Coiny-Pin-Donut Bunch", although Coiny suggests that it could use some pizzazz. He gets an idea that combines one aspect of them each, Coiny rolling like a wheel, Pin sweating ooze, and Donut having a hole, to get the name "Wheel Ooze a Hole Bunch" (W.O.A.H. Bunch). Donut criticizes the name to Coiny's annoyance. At the elimination, Coiny receives the most likes and Donut ends up being eliminated, leaving Coiny and Pin as the only W.O.A.H. Bunch members.
Battle for BFDI[]
Donut hosts the first elimination for The Losers!, Coiny and Pin's team, of the season. Donut reveals that Pin and Coiny end up being the first two safe for the team and are given poppers for the ceremony's Cake at Stake prize. While Pin tells Donut that it is not cake, Donut mentions the poppers being grained with sugar, which Coiny becomes determined to find.
The Power of Two[]
As the season's teams are being formed, Coiny notices that Donut has plenty of open spots for his team. Excited to reunite the original W.O.A.H. Bunch, Coiny brings Pin and Needle with him as he teams up with Donut. Later when the team, later named Team8s, gets into an argument over the team name, Coiny and Pin argue in favor for W.O.A.H. Bunch while Donut remains neutral.
In the second challenge, Coiny proposes to Donut and Barf Bag that they use glue to stack their team's blocks together. While the two go along with the idea, Pin calls Coiny out for convincing his team to cheat. However, as she goes to tell Two about this, she learns that Two doesn't mind the strategy. After the rest of the team is over the conflict, Pin reluctantly agrees to help them which Coiny and Donut cheer to.
When the teams are tasked with retrieving Two's plates from a canal, Donut suggests buying a fishing rod using Coiny's phone. However, when the rod is unable to retrieve it, Pin yells at Donut that the plate is miles underwater. Coiny thanks Pin for pointing this out only for Pin to interrupt Coiny and buy a vacuum, which also fails to work for the challenge.
When the team is sent to the balance beam to repair it for the next challenge, Pin and Coiny are eager to see who can outlast one another on the beam. As Donut tries to get them to focus on the challenge, Coiny interrupts him and pretends that Donut suggests that he faces Pin off on the beam. Kicking Donut towards one of the support beams, Coiny makes it to the top of the beam with Pin and the two ask Donut to keep the beam steady. As Donut holds the beam up for them, Pin starts throwing items at Coiny where the two realize that they can use a mirror to make the beam look fixed from a perspective. Later as the team leans half of the beam towards the mirror, Pin shakes Coiny while initially celebrating and ends up causing the beam to tilt and crack the mirror. Donut frustratedly yells at the two for breaking the mirror. Later when the team is given wires in exchange for the mirror, Coiny and Pin, along with Gaty, Barf Bag, and Needle, decide to pull the beam halves using the wires and have Donut in the middle to mesh them together, knowing this will crush him in the process. As the team does this, Coiny, Pin, and Gaty release their grip on the wires as Donut is crushed between the two pieces. Although, this ends up working as Two is able to stand on the beam when testing it out.
In the following balance beam contest, Pin accidentally causes Donut to start rolling down the beam. Coiny asks Barf Bag to throw someone to go retrieve him and volunteers Pin to do so. As Pin flies away after being thrown, she makes it to the opposite side of the beam and catches Donut in time.
Fanon[]
Coinpinut is a rarepair as a ship overall. The trio first came to be within the fandom after the start of Battle for Dream Island Again, having some notability with the given Coiny-Pin-Donut Bunch mentioned in the season. Although Donut ended up being an early boot, the three as a trio still remained fairly prevalent through the show's run largely due to the three becoming teammates again in The Power of Two. Fan art of them often has them centered around W.O.A.H. Bunch as the first three members of the team with some redrawing the scene of the three as The Coiny-Pin-Donut Bunch. Although less common as a ship, posts seeing the three this way often have Donut act as a wingman or third wheel for Coiny and Pin given he was how the two met in the first place.
