ColdCheater is the slash ship between the Voice of the Cold and the Voice of the Cheated from the Slay the Princess fandom.
Canon[]
Both are fellow voices tasked with supporting the player. They have their unique sets of personalities along with Personality Powers. As their name suggests, Cold is intensely more deadpan and monotone in contrast to Cheated's loud and emotional demeanor. The one thing they share in common is their hatred and distrust of The Narrator.
Both can be unlocked together in The Wraith chapter.
Chapter III: The Wraith[]
Denying The Spectre of his body, she forcefully steals and crushes the protagonist's heart, especially if he doesn't have a weapon. A very ticked Cheated will spawn in the next route, exclaiming everything wrong and hopeless with their predicament. Him and the Hero quarrel with The Narrator, much to Cold's ennui. The protagonist can continue to chat despite this. Encountering The Wraith has her jump out, like Cheated predicted.
Cornered, ankle broken, Cold is game with allowing the Princess to possess the player. Not because they don't have a choice, as pointed out by Cheated, but via his skewed priorities. Facing the mirror invokes fear into all except the player and Cold. Touching it will send the voices away.
Chapter II: The Razor[]
Cheated's respective route unlocks The Razor, who with sheer unsurmountable power can unlock all voices into one path. This includes Cold, who attempts fending her off by unfeeling. A possible theory for Cheated gathering up allies was for a higher chance of victory.
Fanon[]
According to AO3, ColdCheater is the most popular Cheated pairing. The Ham and Deadpan Duo tendency plays out between them, earning them positive attention. Another possible factor could be their extensive popularity as separate voices.
