Collector Clawthorne is the friendship between Eda Clawthorne and the Collector from The Owl House fandom.

Eda first met the Collector when she saw them playing with King and tried to save her son from him, the Collector spots her and tells her that she looks fun and asks if she is inetersted in playing. The Owl Beast's history with the Collector caused them to take control of Eda's body and mind.
The Collector is eager to play with Eda and sees her as cool aunt from what King tells him. After Terra Snapdragon doesn't act like Eda, he puppets her and wants to play with the actual Eda. However, they can't due to the curse. The Collector had unpuppets Lilith to look after Owl Beast Eda, while having no idea that Eda was able to return back to normal. With help from Lilith creating the elixir to fight it, along with King ensuring that the Collector doesn't become aware of this. Knowing that the Collector would want to play with her the moment they learn that she is able to do so.
Eda and her small party were secretly working on a plan to stop the Collector and free the Boiling Isles from them. She was all for having King using his Titan powers on them, but after King tells her that he wishes to reason with them, as kid to kid, she decides to let him try. Before they could, however, the Collector frees that Eda was no longer trapped in her curse form and that she is helping King to betray them. Resulting in them trapping Eda in an illusion of her being trapped in a net by her family, because of her curse. Until Luz helped Eda to escape from it.
After realizing that the Collector is just a misunderstood child, Eda allows Luz to talk to them. The trio takes the Collector to various places to try to improve their understanding on friendship.
After Luz dies, the Collector asks where Luz went, Eda pushes them away and realizes that she can't control herself, trying not to hurt them. The Collector wants Eda and King to run away so they don't get hurt, as he finally understands what death means to mortals and removes the mold off them, not wanting them to die like Luz.

Lots of fans wanted Eda to adopt the Collector. Due to the bonds that they have formed with two of Eda's kids and think that she would also be a good mother towards them as well. Also, fans want the Collector to have a parent-like figure as he hadn't had the best ones (Belos or Odalia), and they think that Eda could be someone the Collector could look up to. Many hope for Eda to adopt Collector so that him and King could be siblings. On AO3, there are currently 55+ written works.
