Coverse Popstar is the het ship between Shoe and Popcorn from the Animatic Battle fandom.
Canon[]
Shoe and Popcorn are both unimpressed with Animatic's prize for winning the show. Shoe and Popcorn also share a similarity in seeing themselves as cool. When Pancake Battle says Shoe is cool, Shoe responds by saying that he's got that right. When Popcorn hears that Shoe joined team Papaya for being cool, she joins as well. Shoe and Popcorn are both put off by carrots causing vitamin-A toxicity, agreeing that they don't want to get hurt. When Popcorn tells her team her plan of spooking the M away, Shoe goes along with it.
Popcorn and Shoe are both scared when Animatic announces the challenge is to survive them. Popcorn is the first one to notice the blue stuff attached to Shoe's back, pointing it out to him. Shoe says he doesn't know what Popcorn is talking about. When Animatic was going to kill Shoe, Popcorn jumps in the way, saving him. Shoe exclaims Popcorn's name. Popcorn tells Papaya along with the rest of her team to run. Shoe looks scared by this but runs away after being convinced by Iced Coffee.
Popcorn and Shoe, along with most of their team panic when Animatic won't recover Exclamation Mark. When Popcorn tries recovering Exclamation Mark with the power of friendship, Shoe watches with the rest of Papaya, his mouth open and curved into a smile. Popcorn and Shoe along with team Papaya are shocked to see Red Exclamation Mark.

Despite their friendship, Converse Popstar is a rarepair ship among the fandom. Their name comes from the fact that shoe is specifically a red converse all star shoe. Popstars are also considered cool, which is important to Shoe and Popcorn's characters as they both see themselves as cool. Based on their interactions, Shoe and Popcorn are good friends. They both have shared beliefs. These beliefs include being cool and not liking pain. Popcorn seems to look out for Shoe. This is shown when Popcorn points out the blue stuff attached to Shoe and when she jumps in to defend Shoe from being killed by Animatic. Shoe also seems to value Popcorn, as he calls out her name when she pushes him away from Animatic, and how he looked scared. Shoe also looks astonished when Popcorn does her best to recover Exclamation Mark, showing he thinks positively on Popcorn's strong belief in friendship. A rival ship for this is Popmusic.
