Corrin is a character from the Fire Emblem and Super Smash Bros. fandoms.
Character[]
Corrin is a descendant of the First Dragon raised in the kingdom of Hoshido, but they were kidnapped by the evil king of Nohr when they were still in their infancy. Despite this, Corrin grew into a kind individual who loved their adopted siblings as if they were their own family. After a war erupts between the two kingdoms, Corrin must make a decision that will change the course of history. Do they side with their presumed birth family in Hoshido, their known family in Nohr, or risk everything to find a way to make peace for both kingdoms?
Corrin is also a playable fighter in the Super Smash Bros. series. They debuted in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U as DLC characters and returned for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

As an avatar character, Corrin can marry any named playable unit of the opposite gender, and each one has an option for same-sex marriage--a first for the series. Should Corrin marry, their union will produce a child named Kana who is the opposite gender of Corrin themselves.
Fanon[]
Corrin has garnered a reputation as one of the more divisive protagonists in the Fire Emblem series due to their seemingly naive personality and being considered the "wrong" main character by some for Fates's already questionable story. Nevertheless, they are still quite popular, making it into the Super Smash Bros. series, and Female Corrin placing second in the women's division in Fire Emblem Heroes Choose Your Legends Round 7 poll, placing fifth overall with 14,369 votes.
Corrin's name prompts jokes calling them "Corn" by fans.
