CraftyNap is the het ship between CraftyCorn and CatNap from the Poppy Playtime fandom.

Canon

Smiling Critters - Can't Sleep

CraftyCorn, along with the rest of the Smiling Critters sans CatNap, are trying to sleep through a storm in DogDay's house. Moments after CraftyCorn gets startled by the sound of a branch snapping, the critters are greeted by the sound of the door opening to reveal CatNap's arrival. CraftyCorn and the others are delighted to see him as CatNap starts to exhale a red gas when asked to help put them to sleep. CraftyCorn begins to laugh hysterically from the red gas alongside the other critters until moments afterward where they are seen to have passed out. CatNap sits on a couch alongside the unconscious critters.

Deep Sleep

When The Player stumbles upon DogDay's Bigger Bodies counterpart imprisoned in a cell, he reveals to The Player that he is the last of the critters remaining after the others fell into CatNap and The Prototype's fates. It is presumed that CatNap likely killed off the rest of the Bigger Bodies version of the Smiling Critters, though CraftyCorn's counterpart has yet to be shown in the game itself. The Ruined Critters, sentient deteriorated toys of the Smiling Critters, find DogDay and gather in the prison cell to take over DogDay's body. Several miniature versions of CraftyCorn and CatNap partake in this where they take over DogDay's now lifeless body and chase after The Player.

After the ARG leading to the release of the game's chapter, artwork of the Smiling Critters was released by artist Scott Forester. Two of the pieces in the art collection depict the two, with the first showing CatNap sleeping next to CraftyCorn drawing on paper. The other shows CraftyCorn covering her mouth after CatNap is seen to have flopped face first on the floor. Afterwards, holiday artwork released by Mob Entertainment from time to time shows the two with the other critters participating in festivities.

Fanon

The ship has gained a following within ships of the game's Smiling Critters characters. Even with the lack of direct interactions within most of the critters in the game, fan AUs and headcanons have gotten shippers hooked on ideas as with the case of these two. Ship art of the two across platforms such as Tumblr, Twitter, and Pinterest usually have them close within a relationship, often within the two's more introverted natures compared to the rest of the critters. Video edits and animations on TikTok have also gotten numerous fans to see and support the vision between the two. Overall, the pairing tends to be rivaled usually by the two's individual ships with DogDay. Though, a select number of shippers enjoy the idea of all three together in a poly relationship where their dynamics are all put together.

On AO3, as of June 5, 2025, the ship has 9 works in its romantic tag and 30 under its platonic tag. It is the 4th most written ship for CraftyCorn and the 6th most for CatNap on the site.
