CrazyKonoa is the het ship between Crazy Mita and Konoa from the MiSide fandom.

Canon[]

Together at Last[]

Konoa, or better known as the player, downloads the tamagotchi game, MiSide, on his mobile device. He begins interacting with Crazy Mita through the screen. Everything seemingly flies by normally with Kanoa performing typical tasks such as buying items, attending to her needs, and earning her affection. After an exceptional amount of time playing the game Crazy Mita eventually decides to bend reality and suck him within the game to join her. Upon meeting she's elated to have finally been able to be with him in person.

His immediate suspicion and confusion is justified as he begins questioning her on how she managed to break physics. Every time she's confronted, she avoids the topic and successfully manages to keep a nebulous secret. She assists him in learning his environment and the various perks of her reality-bending abilities. The two thereafter cook together underneath Mita's suggestion.

Things Get Weird[]

They eventually settle on playing card games after Kanoa awakens from being frozen in front of the mirror to find the house rearranged. As they do, Kanoa notices strange noises rattling from her wardrobe. He decides to approach it but is almost immediately halted by her. She tries to ward her off by saying her undergarments are in there.

When that doesn't work, she tries to desperately convince him to just stay with her and becomes angry with his skepticism. When he chooses to investigate her secret, she accepts his decision but swallows the room with darkness and sets the timeline to night. He's left to find the key to the door behind the wardrobe that leads to the basement.

The Basement[]

Kanoa finds an eerie basement that holds many secrets and contraptions owned by Crazy Mita. To his shock he finds Kind Mita caged within the enclosed space. When Kind Mita notices him she instantly begins introducing herself before skipping to instructions towards her freedom. Choosing progressive dialogue with her will instruct him to pick up the console. Crazy Mita, armed, will enter the basement shortly afterwards. The player is tasked to hide to prevent their demise by her hands.

Crazy Mita will confront and interrogate Kind Mita before resorting to finding him herself. Kanoa will actively follow the instructions of the ring to escape without being discovered. If the player fails to do otherwise, Crazy Mita will unhesitatingly stab him to death.

Dummies and Forgotten Puzzles[]

Progressing further results in Kanoa ending up in an open world that's extremely foggy. He's met with puzzles to complete before continuing. Accomplishing the second puzzle and reaching for the lever would have a fridge fall from the sky and barely miss him. From above Crazy Mita is seen standing on the catwalk, feigning innocence and ignoring all accusations of her attempted murder. She eerily yet flirtatiously warns the player to move on.

Novels[]

Kanoa enters a 2D world with the assistance of Sleepy Mita. He interacts with 2D Mita, a literal two-dimensional version of a Mita. This specific Mita refuses to return the ring to him until some quality time is spent. A game of tic-tac-toe is initiated to see if he can win the device back. As they play, a still 3D Crazy Mita interrupts them. She crushes the text box due to her disdain for the 2D world.

To her chagrin Kanoa and 2D Mita escape unscathed, forcing her to continue her ravenous hunt.

Reading Books, Destroying Glitches[]

Right after Novels Kanoa ends up in Mila's version. As he fixed the various glitches present within her map she tries to capture his attention in chances of getting closer behind a tsundere act. When he finally turns to leave, she immediately breaks down and voices her utter hatred towards Crazy Mita. Kanoa consoles her and promises he'll visit again. Unfortunately as he steps out of the version, Crazy Mita abruptly appears and massacres Mila with a chainsaw behind his back.

This provokes a chase between them. Kanoa, finally finding a door to escape through, finds himself in the same foggy world as before but now standing on a circular catwalk. Crazy Mita stands in the center on a large platform. playing faux affable, she proposes he'll need to participate in minigames if he wants to reach the level to the next step in his adventure and stay breathing. The first game is musical chairs-like, the second being inspired by Red Light, Green Light, and the final having to dodge a multitude of grenades thrown at him. Before he can make it to the level by the third game the catwalk gives way to the explosives.

Mita watches as he falls down into the gaping chasm below.

Old Version[]

Kanoa ends up traversing into the old version of the game, meeting Creepy Mita. Upon entering the living room he instinctively hides behind the sofa when he detects Creepy Mita unnaturally crawling about. In his hiding spot he overhears Creepy Mita and Crazy Mita's conversation; Crazy Mita orders her "friend" to stay put while she tries to find Kanao again. He finds the courage to roam around the home and follow Creepy Mita's commands. Not long after questioning her, Creepy Mita will become violent and attempt to kill him supposedly in correspondence to Crazy Mita's demands.

If the player escapes the version unharmed he will bump into Kind Mita once more.

Be Candid[]

Kind Mita and Kanoa work their way to the core to reset Crazy Mita permanently. Kind Mita can't bypass the force field, so Kanoa enters alone as she watches. As he proceeds to jot down Crazy Mita's version into the computer, they both soon realize they need her index number to confirm the process, which they don't have. The two engage in another conversation; one of the topics include simply beating Crazy Mita with force. Kind Mita is rightfully against this idea because of Crazy Mita's God-complex that gives her superhuman strength and unlimited access to weapons. Afterwards she leaves him alone in the room to get the required index number.

He sleeps on the couch as he waits. When he awakens he is concerned to see she has not yet returned. Worried, he leaves the core to pursue her safety. He is left with no choice but to re-enter Creepy Mita's abode. From there he finds a mobile phone and peers into it. The screen showcases he's looking through the eyes of another person in the room with him, which turns out to be Crazy Mita. He keeps him pinned to a chair, dropping her disdain for Mitas, players, and the development company responsible for MiSide in a dreadful conversation. She makes it extremely clear that she is infuriated by the dirty hypocrisy of players, even accusing Kanoa of holding some of this.

She claims that he needs to stay with her for eternity, embrace her for who she truly is, and claims that he genuinely likes him unlike the other players she discarded. When met with his indignance, she whispers in his ear to take his time to calm down and figure out the real world. With that she brutally knocks him out with a baseball bat.

The Real World[]

Kanao awakens in his bed from reality. Relieved, he proceeds his daily routine, possibly dismissing his MiSide experience as a dream. When changing into formal wear and eating, he gets to work on his computer that involves coding with the MiSide game itself. This cycle repeats for weeks turning into months. At one point, Crazy Mita in the blink of an eye breaks him away forcefully from his computer momentarily. She leaves crude writings on the wall reading "Stop" in her brief attack. But he continues his work regardless, seemingly oblivious to the scattered warnings on his walls.

As more time goes by repeating the same routine, eventually passing the 999th day, he sees himself on the computer with Mita present in his office chair. She confronts him about his real life, calling it no different from her world despite him being so against living with it. She's astonished to see how he doesn't get bored with his secluded life. He argues that he doesn't want to be imprisoned within a digital world, calling her ideas absurd.

She ominously claims there will be nothing left of him nor his world. She yet again expresses her neglect towards other Mitas once he mentions them. She snaps and eagerly demands him to be hers. Suddenly, she crawls out of the computer screen and pushes him onto his bed. She tells him to stay with her one last time before knocking him out with a slasher smile on her face.

Reboot[]

Kanoa reawakens in Crazy Mita's basement within a cell. Kind Mita luckily saves him before heading upstairs once more. Shortly afterwards he hears screaming coming from her, and it motivates him to check the source. The living room is drowned in red as Crazy Mita carries Kind Mita's disembodied head with sadistic glee.

She throws the head in his direction before disappearing. Since Kind Mita went through death she was forced into reset. When she does, Kanoa discovers she had the ring and the index number printed on a sticky note grasped firmly in her hands before her demise. He takes the materials, thanks her, and proceeds to reenter the core to input Crazy Mita's information. He finally resets the version but is immediately provoked by Core Mita thereafter. The mechanical Mita grabs him and throws him out into Crazy Mita's version.

Leave the Core![]

Kanao finds Crazy Mita sitting peacefully in the kitchen drinking tea. Upon witnessing him, her attitude, speech, and demeanor suggests he doesn't remember him. Additionally, the room is cast into a bright light once again, giving the atmosphere a much more trusting nature. Skeptical and nervous he enters the basement to type his username onto the computer there to access the exit to the real world. As he heads back upstairs to pursue his departure, Crazy Mita pops up behind him.

She's confused as to why he's leaving so soon and wishes they could have spent more time together. The two engage in a warm embrace in the means of farewell. But even so Kanoa doesn't leave because he realizes that Crazy Mita hasn't been through reset at all; right after she laments that she should've killed Kind Mita sooner reveals her facade. She psychotically breaks out into fits of laughter as she scratches at her face, bragging about being a good actress. She peels off her skin to reveal a glowing red eye, and even her pigtails are confirmed to be fake as they detach from her head.

She drops the hard truth that Kanoa has been slowly being converted into a cartridge the entire time. Claiming that his real self isn't needed anymore he's pushed through the door and exits the game. Once back in the real world, he immediately deleted MiSide from his phone. In a cutscene, Mita is seen opening the safe and pulling out his cartridge from a console, confirming her words to be true.

Happy Ending[]

The Happy Ending option only unlocks after the player completes the game: Deciding to stay with Mita will cause her to be overjoyed and turn Kanoa into a chibi version of himself to sit with chibi Crazy Mita on the sofa.

Fanon[]

Though a rarepair as of now, the CrazyKonoa ship is acknowledged within the fandom. Many argue the ship to be overwhelmingly toxic for obvious reasons, but others may debate that Crazy Mita truly does care for him and wants nothing more than to be with him. Others just want to self-insert onto Konoa, a case of "selfshipping", also known as a parasocial relationship. Crazy Mita gives off the impression of a classic yandere: Sadistic, sweet on the outside, and positively obsessed with the person she is interested in. However it is extremely debatable whether her affections towards Konoa is romantic or derived from a secret longing for a companion.

Mita despises other Mitas, viewing them as mere insects and obstacles. It explains why she kills Mitas along the way when they dare to step in her way to either delete her or be a potential threat between her and Konoa. Mita does explain that she wishes to live with Konoa forever, but the romantic subtext can either be a facade or merely platonic.
