CreamCola is the femslash ship between Cream Soda Cookie and Cherry Cola Cookie from the Cookie Run fandom.
Cream Soda and Cherry Cola have been best friends since they were both little, constantly practicing and sparring to become the best swordscookies together, with a special promise between themselves that they'd stand as competitors in the ultimate tournament of legends one day. Yet when they got older, they eventually would attend different schools, never getting time to see each other in person again. Cream Soda would write her old friend letters constantly, yet for no given reason, Cherry Cola would never reply back. With no way to get in touch with her, Cream Soda could only silently worry as she had to spend her days busy with being a role model for her Royal Cookie Academy, as the student council president. It wasn't until she heard of the legendary tournament and decided to attend, for herself and for the bright hope that Cherry Cola would be their among the competitors as well. But does her old friend still feel the same as they both once did all those years ago?
The Sun Tournament[]
Path to Becoming the Best[]
In the Temple of the Sun, a grand swordsmanship tournament is held. The one who emerges victorious and draws the Sunblade will be recognized as the greatest swordscookie. As exceptional swordscookies from all corners of the world gather, Cream Soda reunites with her childhood friend, Cherry Cola. Before they can notice the slight changes in each other, the opening ceremony begins.
The swordscookies, divided into Magmabird Desert, Emerald Golem Plains, Ocean Dragon Ocean, and Thundersnow Yeti Glacier arenas, prepare for the preliminary rounds. While everyone diligently readies themselves, Cherry Cola finds herself constantly avoiding Cream Soda, leaving them unable to properly practice before the preliminaries begin.
Due to their inability to practice together, Team Ocean ends up last in the preliminary round. As Cherry Cola blames herself, Cream Soda reminds her of the promise they made to become the greatest swordscookies before going off to different schools. Grateful that her old best friend remembers the promise yet burdened by the fear that her secret might be discovered, Cherry Cola steels herself for the final round.
While the fizzy cola Cookie insists on practicing alone, Cream Soda watches the match between Team Plains and Team Glacier. Nervous from witnessing the intense duel of the skilled competitors, the elite student decides she should practice and learn together with Cherry Cola. With the help of Rose, she manages to find her, but Cream Soda is taken aback when her old friend runs away, telling her to stay back. Seeing the traces of burst cola, Cream Soda remembers that Cherry Cola tends to burst when nervous and worries about what she might be hiding.
In a match against Team Glacier, which includes Dark Choco and Knight, Team Ocean faces a tough battle. As Cherry Cola fights Dark Choco, she almost explodes in an attempt to win. Cream Soda, who is pushed back by Knight, becomes distracted upon seeing Cherry Cola's distress. This lapse in focus allows Dark Choco to land a decisive blow, knocking Cherry Cola to the ground. With Team Ocean ultimately defeated, the dual-welding swordscookie is left in deep despair.
Cream Soda finds Cherry Cola hiding without even receiving any treatment. Offering words of comfort, she reassures her best friend that the loss in the match wasn't her fault. Relieved that Cream Soda didn't know her secret, Cherry Cola feels a bit better. Meanwhile, the duo accidentally witness Raspberry Mousse pledging to win for Rose. Though the proud heir of House Raspberry feels embarrassed at his intimidate moment being seen by others, both agree that they understand the determination to win for a beloved Cookie. With renewed resolve, each Cookie is set on their own path to victory.
A True Swordscookie[]
As their individual matches approach, the swordscookies take a well-deserved break, supported by their close friends. Meanwhile, Cream Soda stands before the Sunblade, reflecting on the type of swordscookie she aspires to become. At the same time, Cherry Cola grows anxious, watching her friends advance while she feels left behind.
Driven by their own compelling reasons to win, the swordscookies have fought fearlessly. The final four contenders are General Jujube, Dark Choco, Cream Soda, and Cherry Cola. Acknowledging her inexperience, Cream Soda suggests to her old friend that they embrace their status as students and use the knowledge they've gained at the academy. So, she devises a joint strategy with Cherry Cola. Their teamwork pays off, and they manage to defeat General Jujube and Dark Choco, earning a spot in the finals. As the Sunblade suddenly begins to shine, Laurel can't hide his excitement, wondering if this might be the moment the legendary sword is finally drawn.
Raspberry Mousse is feeling down about his defeat, but Rose offers comforting words. In the Rose Garden, Cherry Cola opens up to the two of them before the finals. Struggling to adapt to the strict academy, she felt immense pressure after receiving a letter from Cream Soda. The fear of disappointing her hometown friend, who was excelling, led Cherry Cola to push herself to the brink. Worried about causing trouble for Cream Soda and the others, she often found herself running away. Hearing this, Raspberry Mousse offers to teach the student how to control her swordsmanship better. Meanwhile, Cream Soda is puzzled by Dark Choco and General Jujube's warnings to be cautious of Cherry Cola.
Just before the final match, Cream Soda receives letters from her friends at her academy, lifting her spirits. Watching this, Cherry Cola can't help but compare her own school experience. As the final match begins, the dual wielding swordscookie feels an unprecedented amount of pressure. When she starts to fall behind Cream Soda, the stress becomes too much, and Cherry Cola loses control!
Despite winning through sheer force, Cherry Cola feels no joy in having earned the right to draw the Sunblade. Distracted by thoughts of what Cream Soda might think of her, she is overwhelmed with anxiety. Determined to prove herself and stay by Cream Soda's side as a strong friend, she tries to draw the legendary sword- but to her dismay, it remains stuck. In her frustration, her outburst becomes fiercer than ever. As everyone else scrambles to escape, Cream Soda bravely leaps into the heart of the cola storm to save her friend!
As Cherry Cola rages uncontrollably, she tries to push away Cream Soda, fearing for her safety. Undeterred, Cream Soda insists on staying by her side. When the two Cookies unite their efforts, they finally manage to draw the Sunblade! Once the storm lessens, Cherry Cola opens up about her struggles at school. Instead of being wary, Cream Soda offers comfort and understanding. They both realize that they wished for the same thing- to remain long-time friends in front of the Sunblade. Rebuilding their friendship, both Cream Soda and Cherry Cola become joint champions. They decide to honor their victory by returning the sword to the temple, hoping that it will inspire future swordscookies and grant them the strength to protect others.

Some Sparkling Advice[]
Cream Soda and Cherry Cola each drop in to Sparkling's Juice Bar with their own worries. Sparkling kindly listens to their worries and offers up support, advice, and refreshing carbonated drinks. Not too long after, the two show up together to have an enjoyable time catching up at the Juice Bar.
Never Let Your Guard Down[]
A banquet is held in celebration of the end of the Sun Tournament, but someone appears to be missing... along with the contents of many of the Cookies' pockets!! Cream Soda and Cherry Cola head out to catch the infamous pickpocket, Chili Pepper.
Long-Awaited Correspondence[]
Cream Soda and Cherry Cola return to their respective schools following the Sun Tournament. Cherry Cola responds to Cream Soda Cookie's letters for the first time, allowing the two Cookies to continue their rekindled friendship even though they are apart.
CookieRun Memory Puzzles![]
Cream Soda and Cherry Cola, along with the rest of the playable cast, celebrating the 8th anniversary of Cookie Run: Ovenbreak, are all having a pie party together. Cream Soda remarks that no matter how long you've known someone, friendship grows deeper when you're honest with each other. Cherry Cola agrees, saying she feels the same way, and now she's not afraid to tell her anything. Cream Soda perks up to this, confessing that she was so glad she feel that way, it was a big relief. This puzzles Cherry Cola, who insists her dear friend didn't do anything wrong, then reminisces of back when they were little, when they first met. She waxes that Cream Soda always sparkled brightly, just like soda. Cream Soda admits she approached her first because she wanted to be her friend too, and ever since she saw her practicing with wooden swords, she thought her cherry–scented dual–wielding style was amazing. This overjoys Cherry Cola, who professes she was so happy, that her heart was bubbling up again. But this time, it didn't feel bad like before. Cream Soda assures her that whenever she feels sad or angry again, they should fizz it all out and wash those feelings away together!
Mystery on the SS Cargot[]
Cream Soda and Cherry Cola board the SS Cargot, a luxurious cruise belonging to Escargot Cookie. Cherry Cola brings up the recent surprising mishaps– the melting of an ice sculpture and even an unfortunate guest who had fallen overboard earlier. Cream Soda tells Cherry Cola that the two should stick together, and she agrees shyly. She then suggests that they both go shopping and head to the Arcade together. Cream Soda liked the suggestion, but she gently counters with a different plan– attending the gala that is about to begin later that night. The two quickly grow excited, soon gushing about Escargot Cookie’s fashion. They bring up how her dresses were sewn by Chocolate Bonbon, and how the laces were imported from Romantic Sugar.

Fanon[]
CreamCola is a popular pairing within the cookie run community. The ship was created near the end of July, 2024, when the two first were revealed, and after the entire story of Valorous Sun Tournament, support for the pairing only grew. While it lacks the fanfiction count of much larger pairings withing the fandom, it more than makes up for it in fanart and social media discussions. There are many ideas explored through artwork with designing plenty of fankid OC's for the couple, as well as exploring various young "puppy love" scenarios of them of their first date or sharing their first kiss.
In the Korean Cookie Run fandom, the duo were received swimmingly, with numerous fanart pieces, discussion is aplenty, with talks of their striking resemblance to the iconic Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog, where even their splash art harkened to the familiar dynamic pose from Sonic Adventure 2. Cherry Cola's shyness is often a favorite topic of fanart, especially with her contrasting against Cream Soda's cheery bubbliness, they have a dynamic enjoyed heavily in various wlw media. Cream Soda was already a beloved popular figure from Tower of Adventures, so her inclusion in Ovenbreak was welcomed, but even more so when she was finally granted story relevance, as well as a dynamic with a new character that fit so naturally, it is often remarked that she feels more like an OB original than a TOA one.
Cream Soda's Affection Jelly's description reads "It writes little letters for its friends from its old school every single day." in reference to Cherry Cola.
In Cream Soda's Super Epic costume, Desserts with Love, Cherry Cola is featured in the skin's splash screen alongside her in a matching outfit, as well as several new exclusive lines for Cream Soda were added for when the two are placed together in the lobby.
In Ovenbreak, they share a trial island all to themselves called "Valorous Sun Tournament."

In the original Korean and the Japanese version of CROB, Cherry Cola calls Cream Soda “My precious childhood friend” in the beginning of their relationship chart. For an unknown reason, the English version removes that part completely.
