- “Yeah! Because Kranch and tendies go together like Cricks and Remdies!”
- — Remy[src]
Crickemy is the slash ship between Cricket Green and Remy Remington from the Big City Greens fandom.
Canon[]
Season 1[]
Cricket and Remy meet in "Space Chicken". When Remy passed by the Greens' home, Cricket called to him, asking he could help him and Tilly launch a chicken into space. Not wanting to attend his violin lessons, he joined in. They have since become inseperable best friends. In "Remy Rescue", Cricket successfully rescues Remy from being sent to boarding school by the latter's parents, the latter having learned assertiveness from the former. They run to each other as their eyes glistened in happiness and hug it out. In "Phoenix Rises", Remy is internally jealous as Cricket refers to his dog Phoenix as his best friend, thinking that he was Cricket's only best friend. In "Barry Cuda", Remy helps Cricket find the attempted murderer of Barry Cuda.
Season 2[]
In "Bad Influencer", Cricket helps Remy to see that his then-favorite influencer Itchaboi was just using him. In "Heat Beaters", Cricket and Remy play a contentous game of "H-O-R-S-E" on the hottest day of the year to settle their rivalry, but later realize their friendship is more important. In "Gabriella's Fella", seeing Cricket acting so shy when he's near Gabriella, Remy decides to help him, with varying results. In "Ding Dongers", Cricket helps propel Remy to unexpected DingDong (a parody of TikTok) stardom with various stunts that Cricket willingly brunts to keep Remy happy, despite the danage to his body. In "Chipocalypse Now", Remy aids in Cricket's quest to save his house from demolition. In "Mansion Madness", Cricket helps Remy take care of the mansion and Snakey while Remy is away on vacation.
Season 3[]
In "Country Side", Cricket tries to show Remy that country life can be just as fun as life back in Big City. To do so, he takes him around noting that "anything can be fun", which eventually leads them to get in trouble with Bill resulting in a large, exhilarating chase which later ends with both being grounded, though they still make the best of it.
Season 4[]
In "Good Grief", Cricket and Remy, after watching a film called Wacky Wednesday, are inspired to swap bodies. Obviously unable to relly do so, they pretend to do so and dress up and act like each other. It leads to some conflict when they start making harsh comments about each other, but they make up when Officer Keys threatened to arrest them for body snatching, which was apparently a crime.
Fanon[]
Though to little extent, Crickemy is shipped by some fans of the series. A main reason for said shipping is because of their friendship within the series. Some headcanons for the two include a trans Cricket and a Remy who secretly likes him.[1]
There are currently 9 works for the pairing on AO3. It is the third most popular ship in the fandom overall.
