Crill is the family ship between Cricket Green and Bill Green from the Big City Greens fandom.

Canon[]

Bill and Cricket are father and son. Cricket is usually reckless, while Bill is mostly well-mannered and intelligent. Naturally, the two love and care each other. However, because of their different personalities, they often have disagreements. Occasionally, the two mimic each others' personalities when needed, with Cricket being responsible and Bill acting reckless. While Cricket often clashes with his father's "square" ideals and sometimes ignores his teachings, he still turns to Bill for help and appreciates his family. Bill, in turn, shows deep affection for Cricket and wants him to be happy, even if he often scolds him and tries to keep him out of trouble. Cricket has a habit of going against Bill's orders and disobeying him, resulting in him getting in trouble.

When Cricket was conceived, it was a panic for Bill, and Bill only intended to have one child. Nonetheless, Bill later came to love Cricket anyway.

Big City Greens[]

Season 1[]

In "Raccooned", Cricket and Bill have their first disagreement. Gramma Alice has been having nightmares, so Cricket and Bill decide to search the garage for her teddy bear. While Bill takes a methodical approach to finding it, Cricket's excitement leads him to discover the teddy bear first. During their search, they also encounter raccoons that Alice had tried to get rid of years ago, only to find that they have been hiding out in the garage and "getting stronger." The two boys manage to scare the raccoons out of the garage, but the raccoons scurry into the house and start causing chaos.

Bill then chooses to set a trap with a cage and a cracker smeared with peanut butter. The trap almost works, but Cricket's impatience allows the raccoon to escape. Frustrated, he and Bill decide to compete against each other to capture the raccoons, with Tilly’s help. Bill sets up numerous complicated traps, while Cricket creates a lasso from a watering hose to catch the raccoons. Their different approaches lead to clashing ideas. Meanwhile, Tilly attempts to “become” one with the raccoons and tries to communicate with them by finding their weaknesses. The commotion wakes Alice, who decides to take action to fend off the raccoons. During the chaos, a large raccoon gets caught simultaneously by both Cricket and Bill, leading to an argument between them. The raccoon's loud screech alerts other raccoons throughout Big City, and they storm the house, forcing the Green family out. Cricket and Bill argue again, but Alice intervenes, pointing out that their fighting has only made things worse.

Inspired by Tilly's idea of acting more like the raccoons, Gramma convinces the family to work together as a team to get rid of them. Cricket and Bill agree to put their differences aside for this purpose. The family then re-enters their home and effectively rounds up the raccoons using their unique methods. When Cricket and Bill compliment each other's efforts, the lead raccoon kidnaps Tilly, prompting them to finally bury the hatchet and work together to capture the raccoon and rescue her. Afterward, Cricket and Bill head to the park to reconcile and decide to set the raccoons free.

Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation[]

In Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation, Cricket tricks his family into going up into space for their family vacation. Bill doesn't take it too well, so Cricket, after locking up commander Colleen Voyd as she was killing the fun, tries to get Bill excited about space. It works, but once Colleen is released and Bill finds out what was going on, he gets angry at Cricket, resulting in conflict between them. Bill shames Cricket for his wacky ideas, to which Cricket believes he's shaming him. However, after being blown away from each other and stranded in space, the two start to feel regret for their words to each other. Once they find each other again, it is tense between them, though they later reconcile.
