Chapter 1[]
Shortly after Croissant invents Time Manipulators, she is startled because the rift suddenly opened, as no Cookies were scheduled to come back right now. She then says only TBD Employees are to open time rifts in the Clock Square. String Gummy then appears before her, saying he found her quicker than expected. Croissant then says she thinks they haven't met before, questioning how he was able to travel back in time without a Timecraft. She then asks him on why she is pointing a gun at her.
He then tells her to hand over her time manipulators, right now. She then responds by saying what is he talking about, also asking on how he knows her name. He introduces himself as String Gummy Cookie, saying he is there to fix the future she ruined. She is surprised and says "What!? I ruined the future..?", he then says that is right, all because of her creating time manipulators. He also says he's there on the order of the director to destroy them.
She then is confused, and asks him if Timekeeper ordered him. She also says this has to be a misunderstanding, saying Timekeeper had watched her make this. He says this is no time for chatting, and that she should just hand them over. Adding he'll take care of the rest later. She responds by saying she cannot, as those were made for the Department.
He says he already knew, but she is always stubborn in what she believes in. He then says he'll have to find them himself. She tells him to stop it. After he destroys one of the employee's time manipulators, Croissant then tells him to stop it again. He sweats a little, saying that didn't take her too long.
The TBD Mender says to him that is the way to the machine room, also adding whatever he does, he should not touch the broken cogwheel. She says that she will catch him, and tells the mender to sound the alarm and remind everyone they've got an intruder. She then tells him indirectly she saw him go into the machine room, questioning where he could be hiding. After Timekeeper Cookie came, she says she is glad to see them, saying a Cookie (referring to String Gummy) from the future to destroy her time manipulators. Timekeeper says they are aware of this, saying to let him destroy and break things, as that is what he is supposed to do.
Croissant then says she hears a noise over there, saying that must be where String Gummy went. She then is startled, as he is right next to the broken cogwheel. She then tells him to not touch that, adding if he messes with it then there's no telling what might happen to the time. She then notices the cogwheel is stopping. He then says to her he has to stop anything that could cause problems in the future, saying that is the reason why he has come there.
She then says a TBD mender could only be able to handle that, asking if that is what he worked with in the future. He responds the director taught him he should atleast learn to handle tasks such as these. She then questions if Timekeeper Cookie taught him to do that. He then becomes quiet, while Timekeeper herself says why would they do something as boring as that.
He speaks, saying they meet here too, at last. Croissant then asks him why he is staring at Timekeeper like that, also asking him if the two know each other. Timekeeper says perhaps they do, or perhaps they do not. String Gummy says to her if it wasn't for her, the situation would have not gone this far, adding she is irresponsible. Croissant is then annoyed, wondering where he went now. She says to Timekeeper that they have to catch him, but Timekeeper says to her to just try her best. She is now more annoyed, as Timekeeper has now disappeared too. She then calls String Gummy and says "Wait!".
String Gummy then finds a delivery cookie with a time manipulator, and tells them to hand it over. A few moments later, Croissant asks the delivery cookie if they've seen a Cookie with big, giant gummy stick rifle. The delivery cookie is startled, asking if she knows him, and responds by saying he came here, broke the their own time manipulator, and barged into the director's office. Croissant is startled, and says but no one can enter the director's office without permission. The delivery cookie then says String Gummy had the key, but Croissant says she's the only one who's supposed to have the key.
Croissant checks her pocket, and says the key is safe there, and says "That means..". She then angrily calls Timekeeper and says she is watching, forcefully saying to them to come out right now. Timekeeper then comes, saying Croissant rang, and Croissant asks her if she opened the door for String Gummy. Timekeeper then asks her if they truly seem like a Cookie who is that nice. Croissant then furiously said so there were multiple keys, wondering when he stole it. Timekeeper tells her to think for a moment, get the gears in her head going, also saying to give a hint, the key Croissant is holding right now is the ONLY key to the office.
Croissant then says the future director must've gave that to him. When String Gummy is in Croissant's office, he says it doesn't look any different from the one in the future, so it shouldn't be that hard to find the time manipulators. He then says that the Director said that Timekeeper kept the most important things in the innermost drawer. He stumbles upon the time-travel goggles, and says they were in the same place the whole time. But then says the goggles being there means the time manipulators are there.
Croissant then calls him out, but then notices the time manipulator is broken, resulting in her to ask how he found it so fast. He responds by saying the Director told him about it's location. Croissant then wonders what Timekeeper in the future is thinking, saying she can't wrap her head around it at all. Timekeeper then says to Croissant if she is sure it is them that is the director, adding if they did not tell her that there is not just one, single future. Croissant then says who could be the director if it isn't Timekeeper. String Gummy tells her to not compare the Director with Timekeeper Cookie. She then asks him if the Director in the future isn't actually Timekeeper, with him responding that the Director is an outstanding Cookie, someone you can't compare to a Cookie who just plays with time.
He says to her he did not intend to say this, but he can't stand listening to any of her assumptions anymore. Croissant then says this Director he's talking about is not even able to fix time and won't come back themselves either. She asks him on what is so outstanding about that, before adding again the Director should be able to take responsibility for the timeline. He responds by saying that is exactly what the Director told him too. She says its not like she's the director or anything, adding on how a normal engineer like her could end up ruining the timeline.
He responds to her by saying it is not her fault in this timeline, resulting in her asking on what's the problem with time manipulators being invented, saying it is all for the employees of the Department. He says of course, because that is hat she intended them to be for, adding that the future won't end up always like you want. He also says even in this very moment, the timeline is currently getting scrambled, saying they don't have the time to go into detail about it.

In Art, Croissant is mostly depicted in her Director of the TBD costume, along with String Gummy himself, working with time machines. They are sometimes depicted with Timekeeper as well.
