- Crowley – “Wow. That's amazing, Ferid. You really defeated the queen.”
- Ferid – “Ooh, keep the compliments coming.”
- — Chapter 41
CrowFeri is the slash ship between Crowley Eusford and Ferid Bathory from the Seraph of the End fandom.
Canon[]
In the anime, Crowley and Ferid seem close, appearing together many times, and Crowley appears when Ferid called for him. Together, they were also the ones that staged a rebellion against the vampire queen, Krul Tepes. Crowley has also been referred to be a part of Ferid's faction.
In the manga, they are also together many times. They were traveling together while Ferid was trying to find Shinoa squad to preventing them from escaping. Ferid has also commented that Crowley's blood had tasted good as a human.
However, their main backstory take place in the light novels. There, Crowley was still a Templar knight that has lost his faith after fighting in the crusades. There, he had seen a bloodsucking moster (who he later discovered was a vampire), and he believed that he had seen satan. He meets Ferid while investigating the deaths of some prostitutes that had died after being cut up and their blood drained out. Crowley thought that Ferid was a very beautiful man. While they talked Crowley thought that Ferid seemed very perverted, and even asks him if he were a sodomite, but he also notices how observant Ferid was in the situation, After, Ferid invites Crowley to his mansion, where they were many young servants wearing clothes that looked see-through at the right angle. Crowley asks Ferid if he were interested in these servants, but Ferid replies that he wasn't and that he just wanted to please Crowley. He also mentioned that he wants to see Crowley in these clothes. While investigating the deaths, Ferid had prevented Crowley's death by delaying their travel to a village where all the residents were killed, and he also helped Crowley come to the conclusion that it was the Templar order that had staged these deaths. Later, Ferid says that he gets bored when Crowley is not around.
However, Ferid also killed many of Crowley's comrades and forcefully turns Crowley into a vampire by feeding him Saito's blood. When they meet again a few decades later, Crowley tries to kill Ferid. He says that he came for revenge, and that he could only think of Ferid's face because getting revenge from him was his only reason for living. Ferid then reveals that he turned Crowley into a vampire because he wanted a friend, and says that vampires make companions to share their despair with each other. Ferid also reveals that he had been targeting Crowley for 150 years before he had turned him into a vampire.
Although both Chess and Horn voice their dislike of Ferid, Crowley says that Ferid was interesting, and something entertaining was bound to happen in whatever missions he was given. Ferid greets Crowley by Nagoya City Hall, where they exchange thinly veiled accusations towards each other. Ferid warns for Crowley to stay behind him during the attack, because if he didn't, even he might die.
Crowley acts as distraction for Ferid to attack the queen, sacrificing his right arm for the white-haired vampire to ambush her. Crowley praises him on his plan, but then asks him what the point of it was. Ferid claims to only be wanting to kill some time, while Crowley skeptically accepts that as an explanation. He wonders if harming the vampire queen was wise, but Ferid brushes off his concerns. Later, Crowley watches Ferid as he announces to all the lower-ranked vampires and commands them. Watching Ferid talk to the vampire progenitors from other countries, Crowley notes that he hasn't seen Ferid this happy for a while now.
Ferid and Crowley ride together in a car towards the village that Yu, Mika and the others are residing. Ferid declares that he is looking for them to become friends, while Crowley doubtfully reasons that it makes no sense, from a "common sense" perspective. Ferid brushes off the logic, freely admitting that even though he killed Crowley's friends 800 years ago, they were now buddy-buddy. Crowley just sighs and agrees. Not soon after, when realizing the humans have noticed them, Ferid commands Crowley to chase after them. Crowley seems slightly put-off but jumps out as directed.
When Ferid finally arrives, Crowley explains that the humans have already decided to surrender, which Ferid reacts with extreme surprise to the news. Having provoked Yu's demon form, Ferid feigns terror and tells Crowley to protect him. Crowley, not getting the joke, plainly states that he was the less powerful one. Ferid refutes the claim, calling himself a "delicate flower". When Mika lunges at him in anger, he calls for Crowley, and the red-headed vampire steps in to parry his blow.
Ferid takes note of how Crowley is good with machines, but Crowley says he only does it because Ferid makes him fix his cars. Right after Ferid tells him to make his death spectacular, Crowley slams on the brakes, flinging the 7th progenitor out of the bus.
Crowley asks Ferid how it felt under the sun, and Ferid teasingly asks if Crowley was worried for him.
Ferid claims that he knows a way to stop the vampire transformation, attempting to kill Shinoa for his own means. Crowley, sensing his, grabs Ferid and throws him into a wall before he can.
As the Hyakuya Sect are fighting the Demon Company, Ferid and Crowley look for humans to prey on in the midst of battle. Ferid remembers how tasty Crowley's blood was in the past, and sarcastically commands him to become a human again. He turns back to Crowley, wondering if his blood was still as tasty now. Crowley dissuades him from the prospect, lightly threatening Ferid for drinking his blood. Ferid taunts him about the idea so much that Crowley is visibly disturbed.
When Ferid locates Saito, their "father", he questions Crowley whether or not he taught him the meaning of life. Crowley denies ever being taught that, but Ferid contradicts that. He openly acknowledges the fact that he killed everyone important to Crowley, and ends off with the idea that "there's no point in living". Crowley doesn't believe it at first when Ferid says he was a prince. Soon, Urd arrives, immediately attacking upon Saito's wishes. Crowley blocks the blow meant for Ferid, but is vastly overpowered. Outnumbered, Crowley anxiouly asks Ferid what to do. Like always though, Ferid jokes around and says that they should keep trying. Ducking beneath Urd's sword, Crowley grabs Ferid (which at this point, has been cut in half) and escapes into the sky. Ferid plainly comments that he didn't have his UV-blocking rings, so Crowley carries him underneath his own cape to keep him safe. Ferid then commands him to throw his body down "twenty-three degrees disagonally to the left".
With Ferid retriving 'Jigenso', he provides a distraction for Crowley to active the Sinful Key at Urd. Yet before he can fire, all the vampires are interrupted by a piercing shriek. Instead of being annoyed, Ferid seems gleeful, ignoring Crowley's protests about the scream and getting them to escape together. Crowley picks up the pieces of Ferid's body, and they run away, out of the alley.
Ferid makes a "tum-tum-tum” noise while running, and Crowley, after hesitating for a while, finally asks him what that was all about. They discuss the making of millennium-old plans, and Crowley wonders who's plan they were in now. Ferid smiles and says that it's his and Guren's turn to become the masterminds.
Evidently bringing Crowley with him when he was observing Shinoa Squad, it seemed when Ferid felt the First was compromised did he enact what he had in mind for Crowley. Beginning the topic of how they met and Crowley becoming a vampire, it seemed that Ferid was checking what memories he had. The innocent question of enquiring about Chess and Horn was the prelude for murdering Crowley.
After claiming that he enjoyed their time together, Ferid claimed that he was stronger and murdered Crowley by seemingly consuming his upper half. In mentioning that Crowley is the 440th, and his views on reincarnation, this may be the answer as to why Ferid transformed Crowley to work with over the ages, since he may have been a reincarnation of his brother.

Fanon[]
The ship is fairly popular among fans. They also have the most screentime with each other as compared to their screen time with other characters. However, there are some people that dislike the ship due to how Ferid killed Crowley's friends and because of how Crowley seems to hate Ferid before he became a vampire and lost his emotions. The ship has some controversy surrounding it, because although they are not blood siblings, they were both transformed by Saito, making them "brothers". At the same time, the fact that Ferid killed him in chapter 134 and the possibility of Crowley being a potential reincarnation brother of Ferid fuels this.
On AO3, CrowFeri is the most written ship for both Ferid and Crowley. It is also the most written ship in the Seraph of the End tag. There are currently 160+ written works.
