Cryan is the het ship between Carrie and Ryan from The Ridonculous Race fandom.

At this point in the game, Carrie had seemingly moved on from Devin, believing that their love was never meant to be. Carrie splits ways with Devin during the all-in, having Devin eat chili, while she dives off the cliff into the water. When she was up on the diving ledge, Carrie met with Ryan, who was complaining about his own relationship problems with Stephanie. Carrie brings up her issues with Devin, striking up a friendly conversation with Ryan about their respective dilemmas. The two become allies and dive into the water together, holding hands for safety. Ryan returns Carrie's kind favor by carrying her to the chill zone. Carrie tells Ryan that she hopes things get better between him and Stephanie. Ryan encourages Carrie to tell Devin how she really feels. Unfortunately, this is not the right time for it since Devin had ended up temporarily blinding himself from the fumes of the spicy chili he was consuming.

Ryan continues to assist Carrie in their little impromptu alliance, even though he has to kind of keep in secret from Stephanie. He knows that Stephanie would never approve of this, especially since she joined their team into an alliance of their own with The Police Cadets and The Ice Dancers. At the end of the episode, Devin is about to confess his feels for Carrie, when Ryan interrupts them, by coming in, shirtless, to talk to them. Carrie keeps looking at Ryan's body, completely distracted by the beauty of his abs. Carrie awkwardly asks why Ryan is shirtless and Ryan just says that he took it off so that Stephanie could wipe her sweat away with it to cool her off, seemingly completely unaware of the fact that he was low-key turning Carrie on. Devin aborts his declaration of love to Carrie storms off in anger, seeing Ryan as a potential threat to his and Carrie's love.
HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE?
Ryan starts to get on Devin's nerves for trying to steal Carrie from him. Similarly, Carrie starts to get in Stephanie's nerves for stealing Ryan from her. Devin and Stephanie attempt to sabotage each others' teams out of spite but Ryan and Carrie are both equally against this. During the boat race across the icy river, Stephanie and Devin try to ram into each others' boats, which actually ends up launching them into each others' boats, pitting Devin and Stephanie against Ryan and Carrie. With Carrie and Ryan being in the same boat together, they decide to work together as a team to get to the finish properly, much to Devin and Stephanie's collective annoyance. Carrie and Ryan continued to get along and fraternize as they went into The Kola Superdeep Borehole, which annoyed Devin and Stephanie. The two would sabotage and torment their own respective teammates down in Kola Superdeep Borehole, just to piss them off, which would have put them behind, had the The Cadets and Sisters not been sabotaging themselves so bad in their own little ways. Fortunately, at the end of the episode, Ryan and Stephanie get back together again. This quells all of Devin and Stephanie's worries of Carrie and Ryan, respectively, stealing each other from the two former people. The Daters/Haters came in second place after The Ice Dancers and The Best Friends came in third right behind them. This would be the end of Carrie and Ryan's interactions.

Cryan is a bit of a rarepair in the fandom, with most people supporting rivaling ships CarDev and, to a lesser extent, StephRyan over them. However, people do think that because of the toxicity of StephRyan and the way Devin inadvertently mistreated Carrie in CarDev, the two parties have their own problems with their respective teammates, giving them a common ground to get along on. This is a nice way of justifying them being in a relationship with each other. Shippers were disappointed to see Ryan and Stephanie get back together again and wished they had done more with Carrie and Ryan's interactions. This ship is often paired with Devphanie. Cryan is also known as "Best Daters", which is the inverse of Devphanie's nickname, "Hater Friends".
