CupBon is the het ship between Cuphead and Baroness Von Bon Bon from the Cuphead fandom.

Canon

After Cuphead recklessly puts his and his brother, Mugman's lives on the line by making a bet with the Devil and losing, the two were sent to collect the soul contracts of several debtors who cheated him out. After defeating all of the debtors on Isle 1 and being informed by Elder Kettle that they should be able to fight the Devil instead of giving him the contracts, they confront Baroness Von Bon Bon on the second isle. She refuses to go down without a fight, but ultimately loses in the end and is forced to give them her soul contract. In the end, the brothers defeat the Devil rather handing him the souls of the debtors as he demanded, saving themselves and everyone else from eternal damnation in the afterlife. Baroness Von Bon Bon is among the other debtors Cuphead and Mugman fought that celebrated their success out of gratitude.

In the second season of The Cuphead Show, Baroness Von Bon Bon lures Cuphead to Sugarland with a large peppermint and allows him to eat anything he wants, on the contrast that he tells no one about the area and that he doesn't eat her castle. Cuphead is initially turned off and attempts to leave, having heard about the Baroness through fairy tails over how she would eat unsuspecting children, but she is able to convince him otherwise by saying she only eats candy. Because of this, Cuphead begins warming up to her, but is creeped out by her spastic and unhinged behavior, which stems from her being unable to leave the candy land due to an ancient curse. He eventually breaks the first rule by bringing Mugman to Sugarland to make up for eating his Halloween candy earlier, who in turn breaks the second rule by eating a bite of her castle. It is here that Baroness Von Bon Bon reveals her true colors and transforms the brothers into candy and chases after them in her castle, with the intention on eating them. She almost succeeded in catching them, but indirectly helped them escape by sending them out on a tidal wave of frosting caused by her castle jumping towards them, much to her dismay. Nonetheless, she calms down, expecting the brothers to one day come back.

Fanon

CupBon is a popular ship amongst the Cuphead fandom, and is both Cuphead's and Baroness Von Bon Bon's most popular ship for each character. While the reason for the ship's popularity is unknown for the most part, it appears to have mostly stemmed from Deviant art user, KarlaDraws14 pairing of the duo. It also may have something to do with the fact that both characters fight by using gun related methods; Von Bon Bon with her shotgun and Cuphead's magic finger bullets. Most depictions of the ship have Baroness Von Bon Bon being the one who flirts with Cuphead, which causes the latter to become flustered and frustrated. Other depictions involve the Baroness making fun of his short height, which unironically results in Cuphead's embarrassment.

Similar to the CalaMug ship, some fans have a problem with the possible age gap and pedophilia aspects of the ship, with Baroness Von Bon Bon being a 27 year old adult and Cuphead being a teenager, though most tend to ignore it and consider their ages ambiguous.
