Season 1

CAR TROUBLE

Cyborg is wallowing over his lost car, when Raven arrives. She comments that him drinking 14 milkshake's doesn't look like a good sign and sits beside him. He asks what she's doing there, and Raven explains that they've all been looking for his car. Cyborg says that they might as well stop looking since it's most likely long gone. He tells Raven how much he loved the car, and says that maybe Raven was right about it just being a car. Raven tells him how when she uses her powers she has to put part of her soul into it, and suggests that the same happened with Cyborg and the T-Car. Cyborg thanks her for the comforting words, when she sees Gizmo driving the T-Car. She then sees the two guys who originally stole the car, and go over and take their car.

They chase down Gizmo, but struggle to keep up. Cyborg wishes that the car could go faster, and Raven tells him to hang on. Cyborg asks what she means, only to see that she's using her magic to make the car fly. They're able to catch up, but the T-Car crashes into a prison van in the process. Cyborg has to destroy the car to stop the villain Overload from taking it, but saves the day. He becomes sad over the car being gone, but Raven says it may not be. She points to the chip he installed in it still being intact, and the two go back to the tower, Raven helping him rebuild the car.

CyRae is a rarepair in the DC and Teen Titans fandoms. Fans of the ship like their rather opposite's attract nature. As well as the fact that the two could comfort each other is some of their harder moments. Though it does tend to get overshadowed by BBRae, which had both as well. On AO3, there are currently 20+ written works and 40+ written gen works.
