Cynuzi is the femslash between Cyn and Uzi Doorman from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
Heartbeat[]
It is highly depicted that Uzi was conversing with Cyn either impersonating an Eldritch J or had a fused conscious with J. As Uzi confronts her and accuses her of being a program, Cyn dismisses that the Workers are like “our” cute puppets. She proceeds to project a holographic image of Nori Doorman, Uzi’s mother, followed by the quote, “It hurts our feelings you don’t remember us.” Uzi asks N, who currently wasn’t present at the moment, why Cyn had shown the hologram, in which Cyn answers with it would be more efficient to show Uzi than explain. Uzi denies, and Cyn decapitates a holographic image of Khan Doorman, Uzi’s father. Successfully distracting her, Cyn and Uzi engage in a battle with Uzi on the losing end. Fortunately, N rescues his best friend and obliterates the Eldritch being via explosive to a heart.
Cabin Fever[]
Throughout the episode, Cyn has harassed Uzi by continuously seeking control over the latter’s conscious. Eventually, Uzi breaks and succumbs to her body being trapped underneath Cyn’s control. Cyn proceeds to massacre the campers, known as Uzi’s peers, and consume them. As she nearly murders Lizzy, V jumps in and flings her backward to a great distance. This causes Cyn to slip control of Uzi’s mind, thus Uzi pleads to V for her mercy. V refers to Uzi as Cyn, to which Uzi is confused about. She begs to V to allow her to speak to N, and once V denies, Cyn regains control and provokes her attacker.
Cyn assaults V violently until her opponent is sprawled helpless on the ground; N seizes Cyn by the back before further damage could be done, and once Cyn pierces N in the hand with V’s nanite acid tail, Uzi regains her conscious once more. After Uzi and N’s personal talk, Cyn does not reoccur.
Home[]
Uzi removes Cyn’s position as admin over V and N and delves into the duo’s memories. Once arriving, she nags N and continuously warns him via hidden messages, even when he was busy in a conversation with Cyn in the latter’s former drone form. Once finally gaining a voice by possessing a crow, she explains everything to N and sought to discover the origins of the AbsoluteSolver and the Murder Drones. In her efforts, Cyn provoked both N and Uzi who were paired with Tessa and J by controlling V. Despite Cyn’s attempts to prevent them from entering her basement, Uzi slipped past. Once finally nearing to entering the basement, Cyn jumpscares them and tosses Uzi out of a nearby window.
Her attention shifts to N, but before she could perform anything, Uzi suddenly possesses her and continues her journey with him. However, once they enter the basement, a continuous battle for the possession of Cyn’s body occurs between Uzi and Cyn. Eventually, Uzi ends on the victorious side and rescues N and V from corruption.
Mass Destruction[]
From the events of Dead End, Uzi struggles with keeping herself free from Cyn’s influence. After Uzi is provoked by Tessa, Cyn abruptly attempts to mutilate her, thus causing Uzi to collapse and get pierced in the chest by Tessa’s blade. N luckily appears in the scene to decapitate Tessa and free Uzi from her demise. When he helps her up, however, Uzi is revealed to be possessed by Cyn once more. Cyn pins N to a nearby pillar and remarked that he had already served his purpose, thus she prepared to kill him off. Before she could, Nori Doorman arrives and spares him. The three engage in a battle with Nori on N’s side and Cyn utilizing Uzi’s body to defeat the duo.
Eventually, N is pinned to the ground, leaving Nori solo. Cyn snags Nori and proceeds to lift her to her mouth. Before she could devour her, N distracts his sister by confessing to Nori that him and Uzi “kinda hang out”. This successfully distracts Cyn and enraged Nori; Nori slaps Uzi’s face and snaps her daughter back to reality. Furious with this gesture, Uzi kicks Nori into the gaping hole. Uzi and N envelop each other into a warm embrace, oblivious to Cyn reappearing at the scene as a hybrid fused with Tessa’s kid corpse, additionally revealing Tessa to be deceased since the downfall of Earth. After consuming the heart of Doll, Cyn attacks N and mauls his neck. Uzi attempts to save him to no avail as Cyn pins her to the ground.
Cyn sarcastically remarks that their battle has been fun and dips into the hole, sending multiple tentacles to steal N and Uzi and force them into the hole. However, Uzi spares N, resulting in Cyn only capturing Uzi.
Absolute End[]
After Uzi attempts to stop the massive tentacle-like organisms from affecting the planet, Cyn destroys it, thus declaring her effort pointless. Cyn slowly approaches N and Uzi, and she noticeably greets Uzi with a frown on her face whereas she greets N with a cheerful demeanor. Cyn attempts to take control over Uzi again, but Uzi fight back and tells the latter to "bite" her. Cyn gleefully reacts on this catchphrase and provokes her; she restrains Uzi and removes her core. N rescues Uzi from further damage, leaving Cyn to focus on him instead. When Uzi catches Cyn dismembering him, she frees him and drags him to a hallway in a nearby building. The two are forced into hiding as Cyn scopes the area for them.
When V arrives on the scene, N is taken from Uzi once Cyn catches him in his shout out to V. When Thad tosses Uzi's railgun to the ground, Cyn rolls her eyes and claims that Uzi isn't there before causing the tentacles to destroy the building Uzi was left alone in. But Uzi revealed herself after she rescued N and V from Cyn's oncoming onslaught. She scolds her, declaring that nobody else is allowed to "traumatize these weirdly hot robots" but her. Cyn tries to gain control over Uzi again, but Uzi successfully blocks her, saying that it's just her in her conscious now. She exclaims that she believes weird things are "frickin cool" and that she's free. A brawl immediately ensues between the females, and eventually, Cyn disguises herself as N when Uzi stabs her with a pickaxe mid-battle to distract her.
J sweeps in and nearly takes the kill for Cyn, but Uzi is rescued by N and V. The battle continues with V and N alongside Uzi. Eventually, Cyn provokes Uzi alone and attempts to teleport behind the latter, thus Uzi accidentally grips Cyn's core through her chest. Realizing her situation after a moment of silence, Uzi yanks the heart out and disintegrates it, sending the world around them into a monotonous setting. Cyn struggles with the missing vital organ and slowly tries to force Uzi to shove it back in her mouth to regain it, but Uzi swallows it instead, earning a shocked expression from the corrupted drone. Finally, Cyn succumbs to death and melts into nothing, free from being the host of the Solver. Uzi had become the new host due to this, and the Solver still retains bits of how they behaved when impersonating Cyn in the past.
Moments[]
- When Uzi and N share a wholesome moment in Absolute End, Cyn ramshackles their space pod and tells them via holographic message, "stop :3".
Fanon[]
The Cynuzi pairing is a highly disrespected ship for Cyn has abused Uzi throughout the entirety of the series, thus resulting in Uzi’s trauma. However, Cyn, in reality, is a drone merely being a puppet to the Absolute Solver; though the Solver refers to themselves as Cyn due to stealing her body and claiming it as its own. The ship can take place in AUs in which Cyn is free from possession and engages in a mutual relationship with Uzi. The main cause for the duo being in a platonic light among fans is due to the toxic relationship they share becoming too problematic for a romantic interpretation, along with Nuzi easily overcoming the ship.
This doesn't dismiss the fact that there is no romantic interpretation between them. As the series progresses, so does the popularity of the ship. Oftentimes fanarts include the two depicted with their solvers and bordering between "smutship" and "fluffship", or even "toxic yuri". AUs include Uzi if she were to be a maid alongside Cyn on Earth within the Elliott Mansion.
Headcanons include Uzi becoming Cyn’s sister-in-law judging from her romantic connection with Serial Designation N. In contrast, fan fictions depict Uzi becoming romantically tied with Cyn instead. The romantic interpretation possibly stems from Cyn seeking to continuously possess Uzi, moreover Cyn’s position as N’s sister conjuring an angst AU whereas a sibling rivalry between them spirals to earn Uzi’s romantic affection.
