Cynobedo is the slash ship between Cyno and Albedo from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Cyno and Albedo are both incredibly intelligent people, one being a graduate of the Sumeru Akademiya and the other being an accomplished alchemist who studies Khemia. Both of them are affiliated with the study of elementalism, as Cyno was previously a Spantamad student and Albedo is a master of alchemy, a subject that falls beneath those taught in the Spantamad Darshan.
Both of them have quite the stoic disposition, either coming off as intimidating or closed off, which gives people the idea that they are unapproachable. In truth, both of them have a softer side that they rarely show: Cyno takes care of Collei and is currently helping with mending relationships between the Akademiya and the desert dwellers, while Albedo employs his talents to help the people of Mondstadt and occassionaly gifts them the portraits he makes of them. However, it's clear that the two don't share the same moral compass, as can be seen throughout their story quests and in their character stories. In fact Cyno has extremely rigid principles which he always uses to interact with the world around him, while Albedo is more morally ambiguous and doesn't seem to have a set of principles he strongly abides by, especially when it comes to alchemy.
Windblume's Breath[]
Cyno and Albedo meet for the first time at the gates of Mondstadt, alongside Tighnari, Collei, Sucrose, and the Traveler. Albedo is tasked with preparing a schedule for the foreigners, and during this encounter the six of them deicde to meet for a dinner around a campfire that same day.
Around the campfire, Cyno reveals that the reason he decided to accompany Collei to Mondstadt was, other than being supportive of her, to visit the renowned artist Calx and commission him a personalized cardback for his Genius Invokation TCG deck. Albedo then informs Cyno that the artist he's looking for is none other than Albedo himself, a revelation which leaves the General Mahamatra flustered and excited. The two converse amicably throghout the dinner, with the occasional fanboying from Cyno, but the two really connect when the conversation topic shifts to Cyno's infamous sense of humour. In fact, Albedo seems to be the only person not bothered by his jokes, and goes so far as to say he finds them fun. Obviously, having his jokes finally complimented for once, Cyno is quite excited, which only leads him to further idolize the man in front of him.
Fanon[]
Cynobedo is a rarepair in the fandom, but it has existed since Albedo's character announcement, and gained more traction towards Cyno's release. However, it gained the most shippers after the 3.5 event Windblume's Breath.
One of the most discussed aspects of their relationship is the fact that Albedo is one of the very few characters who does not mind Cyno's infamous jokes. Because of this, Cyno is often depicted telling one of his jokes to Albedo, and, for once, being validated for it, rather than being met with a groan or an eyeroll. Sometimes it's Albedo the ones who tries to imitate Cyno's sense of humour, often with the delight of the other.
The shippers often play with the concept of sinning/judging with the two, as they have completely opposite ways of approaching knowledge. On one hand, Cyno's job is to make sure that the six sins of knowledge are never broken, as they could lead the nation of Sumeru and its inhabitants to the same fate Khaenri'ah suffered. Albedo, on the other hand, has made it quite clear that he does not have particularly strong morals when it comes to researching alchemy, as it's shown in his Character Teaser[1]. These diametrically opposing views could potentially pit the two against each other, something that would be even more tragic given the good relationship they seem to have.

Trivia[]
- During the Glittering Elixirs web event, one of the two special potions obtained thanks to Cyno's ingredients is "Energy Booster: Endorsed by the General Mahamatra". The potion's bottle looks cohesive with Albedo's design, from the blue/gold colours to the four-pointed star on it.
- Very much similar to his character, the English Voice Actor of Albedo (Khoi Dao) enjoys Cyno's jokes.
