When Duke moved into the manor Cass became like a sister to him. As she and the other Wayne wards make Duke part of their family traditions and activities shared among the Bat sidekicks. Along with Cass being there for Duke when he is sad. Like when Duke broke up with his girlfriend and both Cass and Dick join Duke on the roof to provide comfort.

The kids cartoon has Cass and Duke serving as the Batgirl and Robin of the show. Cass is shown to be older than Duke, who is presented as a kid while Cass is in her teens. Having Cass act like an older sister to Duke. Because Batwheels is a kids show, Cass and Duke were made to be a lot more chipper than their mainstream selves. Along with having them act as kids towards Batman, from when they both asked him for fun stuff, like excepting the chances to treat themselves and to let them have a dog.
From when the two found themselves hosting a dog adoption fair, that they were happy to do and after seeing one puppy left, Duke asked Cass if they could keep him. Cass wanted to as much as him, but she was worried that Batman wouldn't go for it. Despite Cass's earlier words, she and Duke still ask him if they can keep the dog. Promising that they'll be responsible for him and were thrilled when Batman said yes.

Some people feel that the two have more of a sibling-like bond than simply one between friends. There have been those who have shipped them romantically, but it's het ship side only has a small amount of support, as seen on AO3.

Keeping the soul of the man she loves close. As Katana she first used Soul Breaker to take the lives of criminals and the sinful, while trapping their souls within the blade.

The Superfam is one the superhero families of the DC Universe, this one focusing on Superman and his found family. Just as the Batfamily, Arrowfam, WonderFam, Aquafam and Flashfam focus on the found families of Batman, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Flash.
There has been a debate whether or nor to include the Kent family who raised Clark in the Superfam as well, along with there being a simply debate about acknowledging Superdog or not. Since Johnathan and Martha Kent have made time for Conner and Kara, are the adopted grandparents of Jon and some Superman stories has Krypto living with the Kents on the farm. Along with how Krypto the Superdog has been seen in a few official and fanmade works of the Superfam. Similar discussions have also been said about Ace the Bat-Hound's role and acknowledgment in the Batfamily.

Because of the experiments done to Slade before becoming Deathstroke, it has allowed his children to be born with unique abilities. Abilities their father wasn't aware of, until one of his enemies informed Rose and Joey of one another. Knowing how they feel about the father who wasn't there for either of them. Allowing the half siblings to bond.
Joey was angry to learn that his father had cheated on his mother when they were still together, but he couldn't being himself to hate Rose. Who has been helping him to master his powers and has been there for him, since he chose to stay with her over leaving with Slade. Joey learned about the hardships Rose understood after losing her mother and had to survive alone on the streets as a child, before her abilities led to her meeting the man who brought the Wilson siblings together. He uses his abilities to show Slade Rose's story, to explain his decision to stay with his sister.
