Dabi and Mr. Compress are prominent members of the League of Villains in My Hero Academia. Throughout the series, it is shown that they maintain a partnership within the group, with Dabi referring to Mr. Compress simply as "Mr.". Although their personal bond is not deeply explored, they often team up together in the canon, combining their powers in various missions.
During the school camp arc, the League of Villains, under Dabi's leadership, conducts an assault on the U.A. training camp. The primary goal was to capture Katsuki Bakugo to weaken the academy's reputation. Dabi leads the Vanguard Action Squad, which includes Mr. Compress, in this nighttime attack. After the events of the Liberation Front, Dabi and Mr. Compress share a sushi meal. During this meeting, Dabi reprimands Mr. Compress for his tendency to flee from confrontations, contrasting with his own willingness to fight.
After the confrontation with Hawks, Dabi meets with Mr. Compress. While on top of Gigantomachia, Dabi underestimates the heroes' abilities, but Mr. Compress advises him to be careful and not to underestimate them.
When Toga expresses her desire to leave, Mr. Compress seeks Dabi's support to stop her. However, Dabi shows indifference, indicating that he doesn't care whether Toga stays or goes, reflecting his distant attitude.
