DaeHee is the het ship between Kang Dae-ho and Kim Jun-hee from the Squid Game fandom.

Canon

The two met each other during the killing game and interact for the first time during the Six-Legged Pentathlon game when players are tasked to make up teams of 5. Dae-Ho was tasked to bring a player to finish their team and brings a former marine, but are interrupted when Jun-Hee comes up and asks for their help. They let her join the team and play the game together, eventually winning when it their turn comes up to play.

In the second game, Six-Legged Pentathlon, Dae-Ho cheers Jun-Hee on as she flips the ddakji, even praising her after the game along with Jung-Bae. And when they were cheering on the other teams, Dae-Ho held onto Jun-Hee as she was celebrating the other group making it through the race. As they were introducing themselves, Dae-Ho looked at Jun-Hee for approval, in return when Jun-Hee introduced herself, she mirrored his actions.

During Mingle, the third game, Jun-Hee and Dae-Ho were together most of the time (except the last round of the game.) Dae-Ho could be seen holding onto Jun-Hee on the spinning platform so that she wouldn't fall when it stops. As they were rushed into a room with the others, Dae-Ho had put his hand against the wall so that Jun-Hee wouldn't hurt herself as she bumped into the wall. In-Ho had joked about not needing more members if the next number was 6, referring to Jun-Hee's child, in an attempt to lighten the mood around him.

Dae-Ho is seen taking care of Jun-Hee in many instances, as they stick together all the time. When not together, Dae-Ho often looks back to check up on Jun-Hee to make sure she's okay. Dae-Ho put his bed next to Jun-Hee's, sleeping next to her so that if anyone tried to harm her, he'd be there to protect her.

Fanon

Through a romantic lens, people like this ship as they find their interactions adorable and they like how in many cases, Dae-Ho was always there taking care of Jun-Hee. It is also a major agreement that Dae-Ho would've been a better partner compared to Myung-Gi, who had ghosted and left Jun-Hee when she was dealing with her pregnancy.

Their fanarts mostly depict them comforting eachother.

Through a platonic lens, people like their friendship and even compare Jun-Hee as Dae-Ho's little sister. This is because Dae-Ho was always the youngest sibling as his sister's are older than him, so the fandom sees Jun-Hee and Dae-Ho in a older brother and younger sister way.

This ship often rivals 555/Myunghee and Daeggi.

• In the past, ddakji (딱지) was usually played by boys, while gonggi (공기) is traditionally considered to be a game for girls. This is why it’s a bit hilarious when Dae-ho says he can play gonggi, while Jun-hee says she’s never played the game before but is good at playing ddakji.
