Daehyeon Boys is the friendship between Ji Hakho, Kwon Hyukjin, Park Taegi, and Hong Eunchan from the Weak Hero fandom.
Canon[]
Jake Ji (Ji Hakho in the Korean version) is the head of Daehyeon High School. Dean Kwon (Kwon Hyukjin in the Korean version) is Jake’s best friend and his second-in-command. Timothy Park (Park Taegi in the Korean version) and Eunchan Hong are their friends.
Chapter 102
After Jake's older brother, Kenny Ji (Ji Gwangseok in the Korean version), is badly wounded by Manwol, Jake tries to leave while claiming he's getting some coffee. Dean doesn't believe him and says he knows Jake is going to confront Changyeon Lee and Manwol. If Jake goes, he'll go. Kenny is like a big brother to him too, so if Jake fights to the death, so will he. Jake thinks it's too dangerous to drag Dean into the mess and remembers Donald Na's (Na Baekjin the Korean version) offer to join the Union
Chapter 109
In a flashback to last year in middle school, Jake meets Timmy after learning the latter is a skilled sabermetrician. Jake is impressed by the Shuttle Patch Rankings and considers using Timmy’s skills to figure out who would win in a fight, Shanks or Mihawk. Dean arrives and tells Jake that they're going to get something to eat. As the two leave, Timmy is surprised to find out he is invited. Jake, Dean, and Timmy are shown playing soccer, playing video games, and reading manga together.
In the present day, Alex Go (Go Hyeontak in the Korean version) confronts Timmy for tailing him, Ben Park (Park Humin in the Korean version) and Gray Yeon (Yeon Sieun in the Korean version). Dean, having spotted the confrontation, rushes to Timmy's side to get him out of the pickle. Alex doesn't back down and challenges Dean to a fight, resulting in Dean kicking him. Ben quickly retaliates and strikes back, asking Dean what his motives are.
Jake arrives and intervenes, stopping the fight. He introduces himself as the head of Daehyeon and uses his reputation to force Ben to let him and his friends leave without further conflict.
Chapter 113
After defeating two bullies, Eunchan receives a call from Jake who asks where he is. Jake advises him to keep a low profile while suspended and to stay out of trouble. He mentions that Eunchan’s suspension is over in three days. Eunchan says he has a mission so he’s going to stop by the school for a bit to get some info. Jake tells Eunchan that he’ll let the Naksung Fam know.
Chapters 115 and 116
Dean, Timmy, Eunchan, and Grape are gathered at Cafe Gamma to celebrate the end of Eunchan's suspension. Dean tries calling Jake, but he isn't answering. Timmy and Eunchan also tried calling him but he still hasn't answered. Dean wonders if Jake is purposely ignoring their calls and borrows Grape’s phone. He is pissed when Jake answers and reminds him of Eunchan’s party. Dean asks where Jake is and Jake says he’s going to get some coffee.
Dean sees through Jake’s lie and asks if he’s on his way to Eunjang, but Jake hangs up on him. Timothy recalls Jake asking to see Eunjang’s cleaning schedule to see when Ben’s class is on duty. Eunchan blames himself because Jake doesn’t want him to get into trouble again since his suspension just ended. They decide to postpone the celebration and go help Jake instead, and Grape tags along because he has a grudge against Eunjang.
Chapter 121
After Gray defeats Dean, Timmy tries to wake Dean up because Jake can't take on that many guys alone. Gray tells him that they have the wrong impression of Ben; Ben isn't a wannabe thug like Daehyeon. He doesn't go around intimidating people by outnumbering them. Ben will fight Jake one on one.
Grape and Timmy don't think Ben will win. Timmy tells Gray that they're group is different and claims to not be thugs, Gray replies that they're nothing but bullies who go around starting fights for no reason. There's a difference between acting genuine and being genuine. Ben will never lose.
Chapter 126
After Jake regains consciousness after being knocked out by Ben, he admits defeat. Timmy and Eunchan have tears welled up in their eyes. Dean helps Jake as their group, along with the Naksung Fam, leave.
Chapter 183
At Lotty World, Gray is alone while his friends ride the Big Drop. He bumps into Dean and his friends. Jake says to not be hard on Dean since he’s actually a good guy, but Gray doesn’t believe him based on how stuck-up and rude he had been. Jake asks for Gray’s help to take a group photo and Gray agrees.
After they part ways, Jake asks Dean if it was awkward for him. Dean says he doesn’t want to go up against Eunjang. He asks if it’s really okay because of Donald. Jake says that he’s going to take care of it and to just forget about it. Dean doesn’t want Jake to shoulder everything all on his own. Timothy recalls how Jake didn’t tell them about the fight against Cheongang, and is worried about Jake taking everything on his shoulders.
Chapter 267
Jake tells Dean that he’s going to be away for the time being. Dean asks if Jake has made up his mind and if Kingsley has agreed. Jake says it’s something that he had talked about with Donald last time. Jake says he has never once lost himself like he did in the past because of Donald's firm hold on him at the top. Jake says that’s why, if Kingsley ever needs help, he plans on coming back when called.
Jake tells Dean to take care of Naksung for him. Dean says not to worry and he knows he can’t talk Jake out of it. Dean isn’t understanding Jake, but rather just accepting the situation. He and his friends wanted to spend more time with Jake. Timothy and Eunchan arrive and sob because Jake is leaving. Jake tells them the remaining money is to be split among the remaining people. He says he doesn’t really know what he wants either, but his mind might change if he rests and he might return faster than expected.
It’s mean and petty, but behind cleaning up after people who are incompetent, and having days where he needed to endure people insulting him, the ones who always kept Jake from swaying were his friends. He thanks them and says he wishes he could’ve also seen everyone else, but it’d be lame because they’re not affectionate people who’d warmly share their emotions.

Fans ship the Daehyeon Boys because they are very similar to the Baku Fam. They are a group of friends who genuinely care about each other and will fight to protect each other. Fans think that if Jake never needed to avenge Kenny and join the Union, then the Daehyeon Boys and the Baku Fam would’ve been friends.
