Dagcup is the slash ship between Hiccup and Dagur from the How to Train Your Dragon fandom.

Canon

Hiccup and Dagur have known each other since they were little, from when it was time for their tribes to sign a treaty to keep up the peace between their two tribes. Whenever Dagur's father, Oswald the Agreeable, brings his son with him to Berk for the signing, Hiccup is left in charge of Dagur by making sure that the deranged boy doesn't brake anything; and because Hiccup is a "hiccup" Dagur acts like a bully towards him. During one of Dagur and Hiccup's times together, they went out for a swim where Dagur nearly drowns Hiccup. Along with Dagur using Hiccup as a knife throwing target at their most recent treaty signing.

After Hiccup tamed a Night Fury and defeated the Red Death, as well as bring humans and dragons together on Berk, Dagur heard the rumors of Hiccup facing a mountain size dragon and had trouble excepting the idea of it, from the times he had spent with Hiccup. Since Dagur is mainly focused on leading his tribe after his father disappeared, all while calming that he had killed him to become the next chief of the Berserker Tribe. With Hiccup and the rest of Berk having no idea that Dagur in the new Berserker chief, but did know that it would be best to keep their new dragon way of life a secret from them.

Dragons: Riders of Berk

Once Hiccup saw Gobber helping Stoick into the ceremonial belt he knew that it wouldn't be long until Dagur and his father arrival to sign their peace treaty. Along with him knowing that he'll be left in charge of making sure that Dagur doesn't brake anything, but Stoick tells Hiccup that he needs him and his friends to hide all of the dragons on the island, since they couldn't wrick Dagur's tribe going berserk on them. Even though Hiccup thinks that Dagur's father might be open minded to their new way of life, before remembering that his son is a different story. As Hiccup gets the dragons to a hidden location, he and his friends talk about the trouble that Dagur has caused them in the name of having a bit of fun with them, like at the last signing when Dagur used Hiccup as a target for his knifes. Even though they were able to get all of the dragons to safety, Thorston Twin's Zippleback, Barf and Belch flew back to Berk. Hiccup leaves the search for the Zippleback to his friends as he goes to inform Stoick of the dragon they are having some trouble with, but because the Berserkers have just arrival Stoick didn't have time to listen to Hiccup. The moment Hiccup saw Dagur the Deranged, as the new Berserker Chief "greets" Hiccup by throwing a knife at him, Hiccup knew that he'll have to find Barf and Belch before Dagur does. Along with him knowing that the absence of Oswald the Agreeable would bring them a lot of trouble, should Stoick give Dagur a reason to attack Berk with his armada.

While Hiccup does what he can to find and hide Barf and Belch from the Berserkers, Dagur orders Hiccup's father to give him the tour before moving onto the feast and the signing. When the dragon was sitting on the roof of the building that Dagur is in, Hiccup tries to get them to fly as Dagur wants his way to the door and finds Hiccup holding his arms while closing his eyes. To keep Dagur's attention away from Barf and Belch Hiccup tells Dagur that he has been looking for him, before bring up the time they had went swimming together as Dagur sees himself all most drowning Hiccup that day as a fun moment. Once Dagur mentioned that he has noticed something different Hiccup got worried that he has got into them, until Dagur brought up Hiccup's leg while Hiccup realized that Barf and Belch are out of sight when Dagur asked him about his leg. Dagur asks Hiccup about the rumors of him taking on the Red Death and how he was able to take down the said dragon, Hiccup denies it to hide the truth that would lead Dagur to their dragons. Before Hiccup asks everyone who is hungry so they can move onto the feast, as well as the signing so they could get Dagur off the island.

At the feast Hiccup is in attendance as the chief's son and after Dagur became angry at the mention of his father, Gobber presents the treaty so Dagur and his men would be on their way once it was signed, but Dagur wants to sign it with dragon's blood which disturbs Hiccup at the mention of it. As Hiccup, Stoick and Gobber try to keep up the illusion that they still kill dragons, Barf and Belch durst into the Great Hall before dashing out of it, while Dagur requests a dragon hunt for the Zippleback. Knowing that they couldn't let Dagur kill the dragon, but still need to keep up the lie after Dagur's party caught Barf and Belch, Hiccup came up with the idea to kill two birds with one stone. By staging a fake dragon attack, that has Hiccup protecting Dagur from a Night Fury. Believing that the attack that Hiccup tells Dagur to retreat from is real, Dagur considers the treaty signed before he and his men leave Berk.

After Hiccup "saved" Dagur from a Night Fury, Dagur had decided to camp on Dragon Island to hone in his dragon hunting skills until he finds the Night Fury.

Dagcup is the one of most popular How to Train Your Dragon ship involving Dagur and the DreamWorks Dragon TV series.

Because Dagur calls Hiccup his brother, fans sometimes have them as actual brothers, with Dagur's sister Heather as Hiccup's twin, for fun. While a select few fans who like the ship but have some trouble excepting the idea of slash or femslash ships, they commonly feature Hiccup as a female version of himself to make it a het ship [1].
