Darupha is the friend ship between Mipha and Daruk from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Both Mipha and Daruk meet for the first time at the Champions' inauguration ceremony and when they take a break at the gazebo outside Hyrule Castle. At Mipha's request, Purah brought the Champions together for a photo shoot where she instructs the Champions to get into position before snapping the photo, however, Daruk pulls everyone in at the last minute. Mipha's diary recounts this moment and considers this to be the happiest moment of her life and is grateful for Daruk for bringing her closer to Link. Later, both Daruk and Mipha also attend Link's personal ceremony to become Princess Zelda's appointed knight, but they grew bored of it due to Zelda's speech giving off depressive vibes, with Daruk commenting about this though Revali retorts that it was his idea to put the ceremony together and as Revali continues to rant at him, Mipha can be seen narrowing her eyes at him, which Revali does not notice until Urbosa hushes them.
Mipha and Daruk alongside the other Champions meet together at Mt. Lanayru to greet the returning Link and Zelda there. Daruk tells her not to keep them in suspense until Zelda tells them that she did not get the desired results she was hoping for and Mipha was about to give Zelda advice before Calamity Ganon returned and Daruk instructs everyone to their respective positions to fight back. Unfortunately, Mipha and Daruk meet their ends after their Divine Beasts were taken from them by Waterblight Ganon and Fireblight Ganon while Link is taken into the Shrine of Resurrection while Zelda uses her newfound power to seal Calamity Ganon. Once Link is revived, he helps free the Divine Beasts, allowing the Champions' souls to take control and open fire to weaken Ganon.
Age of Calamity[]
After the Champions were recruited, they escort Zelda through Castle Town to calibrate the Divine Beasts to allow for easier control. Mipha inquires of Daruk's assistance regarding training to help handle stronger foes. Daruk accepts her offer while adding that they need a knight who will seal the darkness and they need someone like him. Mipha agrees and Daruk states that if she sees someone who will, but he casts a glance at Link and chuckles to himself. The Yiga Clan led by Sooga suddenly ambushes them, forcing Mipha and Daruk to get into a fighting stance, as Daruk wasn't expecting a battle to happen quickly, while Mipha replies that training isn't her concern at the moment while telling Link to keep Zelda safe. Later on, after Link gains the Master Sword and the heroes battle all the monsters, the Champions are inaugurated and given their blue attire. As Impa and Terrako fight, Mipha reminds Daruk about their discussion and Daruk immediately accepts as Mipha states that she wishes to become stronger so that she can fight alongside Link, who overhears the conversation and approaches her, making her panic. Much later, when Calamity Ganon returns, Mipha and Daruk are in a fight for their lives but are saved by the adult Sidon and Yunobo respectively who give Link, Zelda, and Impa enough time for them to save them from the Blights. They continue to fight alongside Hyrule until they defeated, Calamity Ganon and Astor.
Fanon[]
Darupha is a rareship among the fanbase with only five stories that give their friendship some focus, but it does have its fans. Their interactions barely have any focus in Breath of the Wild with the only incidence is in Mipha's diary where she is grateful to Daruk for bringing her closer to Link. Their relationship is given much more focus in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity with various cutscenes focusing more on their friendship with Daruk always being willing to help Mipha train further to better prepare for the battle ahead to be on the safe side since they don't know what they are really up against. Their friendship is considered to be heartwarming due to how devoted they are to each other and during the Water and Fire Scenario, after Waterblight Ganon is destroyed, Mipha pleads with Link, Impa, and Zelda to save Daruk as well before it is too late and she used Vah Ruta's power over water to cool the lava blocking the path to Vah Rudania, allowing them to reach Daruk and save his life.
