Dehnari is the het ship between Dehya and Tighnari from the Genshin Impact fandom.

Canon[]

Dehya travels with the Traveler to meet with their fellow comrade, Tighnari. Underneath crucial matters, they visit Pardis Dhyai where Tighnari currently stands. Upon meeting, Dehya introduces herself to Tighnari with Paimon additionally classifying her as their friend. From there, the group moves to a more secluded location to speak in private; Traveler drops the question about II Dottore, alias The Doctor, and his current whereabouts. Luckily, Tighnari knows of Dottore and nonchalantly claims he left moments before they had arrived.

He further explains The Doctor had arrived in search of him. Dehya's curiosity peaks, and she politely asks what their conversation was about. She adds that Cyno is working with them in hopes of gaining Tighnari's trust. This unfailingly works much to her amusement. She questions why he isn't the slightest bit skeptical of her. Tighnari expresses that he can tell that Dehya is the serious type and unlikely to deceive him, nor the others. He reassures that the trio needn't have to ask further uncomfortable questions as he gets to the point with his interaction with Dottore.

After he reached the climax of his story, Dehya apologized for not being able to lend him more information on their current situation. She thanks him for his kindness, and he doesn't mind her secrecy. He then continues with his previous exchange with Cyno to give them more insight. Knowing that Cyno is a part of Dehya's team, he places all of his trust in her and the others. Dehya asks if Tighnari noticed which direction Dottore had taken, which he gladfully provides.

When the trio returns, Phardis Dhyai is under a Fatui attack. Dehya and Tighnari battle alongside the Traveler to force them at bay. Tighnari demands Traveler and Paimon depart the party and protect Hypatia whilst Dehya and him uphold the fight. Scaramouche unleashes a lightning storm shortly afterwards; it succeeded in scaring off the Fatui but Tighnari was struck in the process. Dehya explains Tighnari's injuries to the Traveler once they return. She complains that people like the fennec always assure they're fine in their clearly wrecked state. Despite this, she showcases genuine gratitude and concern for his wellbeing.

In Dehya's voice lines, she possesses one for Tighnari; she recalls how she nearly got a job for him, but once she mentioned the desert, her offer was abruptly rescinded. This ultimately caught her off guard and she questioned his reasoning. She suddenly remembers a vague mention of him not doing well with the heat and finds his decline understandable, though she isn't completely sure this is factual. Tighnari had a similar concept with her in one of his voice lines; he compliments her amazing strength and ranks her as someone very fortunate to have for her capability and reliability.

He wishes he gave her a proper "thank you" if the events of the Archon Quest hadn't blown by. He figures that many have invited her to join their ranks, but is well aware that she doesn't strike as the type of person to be invested in the Forest Rangers. He refuses to offer her a position with him due to this.

Fanon[]

Dehnari is an extreme rarepair within the Genshin Impact fandom. Their pairing is easily overshadowed by popular ships such as Cynonari and Candehya. Fans of the Masculine Girl, Feminine Guy and or the Tiny Guy, Huge Girl may find themselves favoring this pairing. With the Strong Girl, Smart Guy being a decently popular couple trope, fans of the ship endear Tighnari and Dehya's dynamic.
