Delpad is the het ship between Della Duck and Launchpad McQuack from the DuckTales fandom.

Season 2[]
Nothing Can Stop Della Duck
Della looks through photos in the houseboat, when she see's one of Launchpad. She yells "who is that", when Launchpad shows up. He introduces himself and says that he's a pilot. Della doesn't like this, and grabs Launchpad by the jacket. She says that even though she's been gone, she won't be replaced. She then runs out of the boat asking where Scrooge is, leaving Launchpad confused. He does cheerily say it was nice to meet her once he gets over it.

Della is ready for a relaxing day of flying, when she enters the plane carrier, only to find the Cloud Slayer gone. She yells to ask where it is, when Launchpad yells back that it's outside. The door opens, and Della is shocked to find the plane in pieces, and Launchpad repairing it. Launchpad assures her that the ship has been through worse than this, and Della does not find that comforting. He says that they've been through hundreds, maybe even thousands of crashes, and Della is holding back the need to attack Launchpad. Della says that she needs the plane ready in less that three hours, and Launchpad they can get it done in no time. He says that they just need the "spinnyboy", confusing Della, till the propeller falls out of a tree.
Launchpad finds a photo of the plane, and tells Della they can use it so they know what it should look like when they get it back together. He suggests starting with the corners, and heads off as Della, annoyed, follows. They start fixing the plane, Della going back over anything that she thinks Launchpad did wrong. Della asks why the plane is sticky, and Launchpad says that he used to use superglue to put the plane back together. He explains that it got tricky, and shows all the tubes glued to his hands. Della is annoyed, as he says that he uses gum now, and the part of the plane she's on falls off. Della figures that Launchpad doesn't know what he's doing, and Launchpad says that everyone knows their own way when it comes to planes. She see's a hamster wheel, and Launchpad says that a gerbil couldn't spin the propeller. She just slams her head on the ground in exhaustion.
Della is finished painting and Launchpad is happy to the plane smiling. Della says not to touch it, and comes up with excuses before just admitting she doesn't want Launchpad near the plane at all. She says it's not personal, but just that Launchpad does know he's a bad pilot. Launchpad looks sad, and Della quickly says that she just means him crashing the plane all the time. She thinks he needs a couple of lessons, and Launchpad happily suggests that he could be her co-pilot. Della says no, but Launchpad says that he should be learning from the best, and Della questions how to say yes without agreeing to teach him. Launchpad yells "best teacher ever" and Della tells him not to get on the plane, as he quickly runs onto the plane.
Della starts to go over the mechanisms of the plane, and he points out the point-o-meter, which tells him his score. His is 5000. Della says that's the airspeed indicator, and pauses to be confused/amazed that he's gone 5000 miles per hour. She then suggests that he stare out the window to make sure they're still in the air. Launchpad knows he can do that and comments ever second about it, much to Della's annoyance.
They reach over Fort Duckburg and Della notices how loose the seat is. She asks why and Launchpad says it's so that they can talk to the people behind them. It reassures them when the plane crashes. Della mutters about being late and wanting to be alone in the open sky, when Launchpad shouts that she seems tense. He tries to calm her, but she bursts out in anger and tells him to sit down and not to distract her. Launchpad does so and says that they're still in the air.
Della gets ready to skydive when the cockpit suddenly starts filling with smoke. Launchpad says it's the hose she repaired in the smoke pump, he normally just uses gum so it can still vent. But what does he know. Della can't see and says that they're about to crash, which Launchpad then takes over. They crash into the armory in time to save the kids. They step out and Della calls him a madman who almost killed them. But didn't, which is weird.
They get to the plain after Coot's popcorn starts to fill the cavern. Della can't back up and says that the only way out is to crash. She tells Launchpad to do his thing, and he happily starts the turbo boost. He tells everyone to relax, they're about to crash and she says that's actually comforting.

Fanon[]
The ship has a decent amount of popularity in the DuckTales fandom. The ship had some followers before the two even interacted, believing that the two would make a good relationship due to them both being pilots. When the two actually interacted, it led to many shipping the two, but also some not attached to their relationship. This is mostly due to Della not liking Launchpad at first. Some really wanted to see their relationship grow into something more mutual though, and were excited to see the dynamic explored. It rivals Dellumbra but its main rival is Drakepad.
On AO3, Delpad is the sixth most written ship for Della and the fifth most written for Launchpad.
