Demidori is the het ship between Midori Gurin and Flame Demon from the Yandere Simulator fandom.

Story Mode (202X)

Neither of them have ever met in the game because the only way for someone to contact the flame demon is to kill someone with the knife in the occult club and put the knife into the skull in the club. Apart from this, Ayano can burn Midori with the powers she gained with the flame demon without any problems, or Ayano can kill Midori with other students to get the flame demon's powers, neither of them have any special something.

Burning Love (Side Game)

In this side game focusing on Flame Demon, Midori and Flame Demon do not communicate in any way. If the player wishes, They can change the name of Sakura, the character they plays in this game, to Midori, but this still does not change anything.

In 2017, Yandere Dev shared three artworks featuring Flame Demon and Midori drawn by ZakuraRain in his January 24th blog post.

Fanon

The reason for Demidori's emergence is the video called "Midori Gurinu dates a demon" made by Kubz Scouts, a former, very popular and well-known yandere simulator publisher with 5.6 million subscribers, and watched by 2.7 million. In this video, Kubz plays the Yandere Simulator side game called Burning Love. First, he jokingly changes his name to Midori's last name (Gurinu). Kubz Scouts did this, causing fans to jokingly ship Midori and the Flame Demon. Some fans even jokingly joked about Midori going to burn YandereDev who didn't respond to her emails after gaining the Flame Demon's powers.

Fans mostly commented in the comment section by writing a series of threads regarding Midori and Flame Demon. Increasingly, funny conversations between two characters became more popular, and some Yandere Simulator fans started making a lot of fan art about them. This fan art usually depicted Midori gaining the Flame Demon's powers, or both characters' funny interactions with each other. In fact, Koumi Senpai, who has a very popular male rival concept in Yandere Simulator, also drew fan art between the two. Later, in 2017, the very impressive Flame demon and Midori fan art made by ZakuraRain attracted Yandere Dev's attention, and he shared the fan art of the two together in a blog post in 2017.

This made the ship more familiar. Zakura also drew Midori and Flame Demon's headcanon daughter and referenced her in an artwork Zakura made. The headcanon named their daughter Midori Nohi, so it`s mean ''green fire'' later created a simple headcanon that this girl would be the rival of Ayano Aishi's daughter in the future. ZakuraRain then drew a full image of Flame Demon and Midori Gurin's oc-daughter.

Although this ship had no in-game interaction at the time of its release, it was Flame Demon's most popular ship and the second most popular ship after Midori's YandoriDev ship. A lot of fan art has been drawn about the two of them and even an oc girl child has been created. The main reason for this is due to KubzScouts' video. Although Demidori shared a lot of fan art and joke moments during ship release, Demidori does not have any fan fiction, and as time passed, this ship was completely forgotten because between the two of them in the game. There was no interaction, most of the fan art ship has is generally from 2016, 2017, 2018. At the same time, this ship's rival is Flame Demon's Sakurame and Midori's YandoriDev ships, but since the YandoriDev ship is now dead, it is not much of a rival. This joke ship is completely forgotten now.
