The current requirements for ship pages are:

When fans first saw Chloe and learned that she is the second child of Cinderella, fans wondered why her hair was blue and looks nothing like Chad or how their parents were presented in the background of the previous films. Until it was explained that Chad takes after his grandparents, while the fourth film gives Cinderella and Charming a whole new original look, and have Chloe take after them. Some fans liked the way that Chloe's partners were played by Brandy Norwood and Paolo Montalban, with them being two of the main stars of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. Which was the first film they played the roles of Cinderella and Prince Charming, years before Disney's Descendants franchise was created.
Like with Red and Bridget, fans liked seeing Chloe getting to know her mother's teenage self. Along with them having a close relationship in the present before traveling to the past, while Red had a terrible relationship with her mother before the past was changed.

EiMal[]
EiMal is the friendship between Raiden Ei and Mal from the Genshin Impact and Descendants fandoms.
Canon[]
Although Ei and Mal never met and originate from different universes, they share several similarities : Being the Electro Archon, Ei is associated with the color purple. Mal can be associated with it by extension as well; although she loves the color green due to her mother's nature. They both started off as a wicked and cold-hearted character in their debut; Ei being seen as a cruel ruler enforcing the Vision Hunt Decree, and Mal being introduced as the evil daughter of Maleficent. The two also fought against a powerful enemy, with Ei being Signora and Mal being Uma. Yet, their two enemies posses opposite elemental abilities: Signora is associated with both ice (Cryo) and fire (Pyro), as for Uma, she is often associated with water (Hydro) due to being the child of Ursula, the Sea Witch. Fire is usually ice and water's weaknesses.

- Both of Ei and Mal started their roles as villains, then they undergo a redemption from another characters.
- They also use swords as their weapons of choice.
- It is unknown on whether Mal had electrokinesis, since she was revealed to only use her fire breath and Hades' Ember as a source of her pyrokinetic magic due to being born as a demigod with her abilities fused to that of a demigod and a fairy, her mother Maleficent has various types of spells, yet it is still not confirmed whether Maleficent uses electricity.

Within the Descendants fandom Evie & Queen is the Evil Queen's most written ship on AO3. Although most of the villain parents within the Disney channel franchise weren't shown to be the most loving parents, they feel that the Evil Queen does care about Evie. Along with fans writing fanfics of the Queen trying to be a better mother to her daughter.
The Huntsman is commonly headcannoned as Evie's father, with he and the Evil Queen coming from the same Disney film and the fact he was her henchman.

Gil is the son Gaston, and although the films make Gil appear to be Gaston's only child, the novels reveal that Gaston has two older sons who are both named after their father. Gaston Jr and Gaston the Third, making Gil the youngest of Gaston's sons. Even though Gil's brothers and Gaston himself didn't appear in the films. He is only mentioned in films, twice in the second film by Gil as he talks about his dad with Ben, the son of Belle and Beast.

Gilry[]
Gilry is the slash ship between Harry Hook and Gil from the Descendants fandom.

Harry and Gil used to be friends with Uma when they were children. The boys usually follow Uma's orders, eventually becoming a habit. As they grew up, Gil became distant and stopped hanging out with them. The three friends reunite once again after Uma won the Lost Revenge and became captain of her own pirate crew.
In the junior novelization of Descendants 2, Harry and Gil kissed. This scene was cut from the final version of the film. This could have indicated a romance between them.

When the image of the characters kissing was released, some fans were upset that the scene didn't happen in the movie. Even one of the film's producers said that the scene was not filmed, but a relaxed moment on the set, but why would it be a "relaxation" moment if an identical scene happened in the film's novelization?

Harry is the son of Captain Hook, one of the many villains to be trapped on the Isle of the Lost. Like most VKs, Harry wears his father's colors as part of his pirate style clothing and even carries around a hook to make himself look more like his father. As the son of a pirate captain, Harry became a member of Uma's pirate gang and be named her first mate.

From time to time fans have crossed Descendants with the Once Upon A Time series, so they can feature Harry with his father's OUAT counterpart, Killian Jones. Which sometimes has Emma Swan be featured as Harry's mother, step or bio depending on the story. This could be due to Captain Hook not appearing in the films, before a young teenage Hook was revealed to be one of the past VKs in The Rise of Red. With most of the main cast not returning for the fourth film, fans knew it was unlikely that the film would have any moments between Harry and his father in the present day timeline. Although photos of teenage Hook does have people think that he looks a little similar to Harry, possibly to create a family resemblance between. Fans also felt that young Hook has a similar energy to Harry as well, from the way Hook carried himself as a member of Uliana's gang.

Horgie is the top slash ship of The Rise of Red, despite teenage Hook and Morgie have a limited number of scenes, fans love the energy they got from them. After seeing photos of their actors, Joshua Colley and Peder Lindell, in their Hook and Morgie costumes that help to give off that energy. There have even been those who parallel them with Harry Hook and Gil, with both of their groups being led by a member of Ursula's family, her daughter Uma and little sister Uliana.

Mal is the daughter of the Mistress of all Evil, Maleficent. Who raised Mal to be bad and wicked like her, and hopes that Mal will aid her mother when they escape off the Isle of the Lost to exact revenge on those who imprisoned the villains on the island. Although Maleficent isn't the best mother and doesn't show her daughter much love, Mal appreciates the fact that her mother stuck around while her father, Hades left Maleficent to raise Mal on her own. Maleficent has Mal grow up beside the children of her allies, the Evil Queen, Jafar and Cruella de Vil, who care for their children and show them the love that Maleficent doesn't give Mal.

Red is the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts, with her not being found of her mother's rules that she sees as ridiculous. Another reason for Red's rebellious actions is from her knowing that she'll never have her mother's approval, so she decides to provoke the Queen of Hearts rather than try to earn affection from her. The Queen tries to make her daughter be more like her and to have Red follow in her example, but Red doesn't want to be her and longs to be free of her, thinking that she'll have the chance of a future if she was far away from her. With the Wonderland Queen not allowing its princess to have her own wants and disagrees with Red's choice of style.
