Canon[]
Season 1[]
TERROR OF THE TERRA-FIRMIANS
Beakley tells Launchpad to get to the control room, but Launchpad says that he can't leave her alone. He wants to point out Dewey, who he believes is a mole man, as the reason, but quickly comes up with a different excuse. Beakley just tells him to go, and Launchpad tells Dewey to come with. Since he needs help...for some reason. He grabs a pipe for possible protection.
As Launchpad attempts to fix the train, he asks Dewey if he thinks it's nice down in the caves. He tries to sus out if Dewey is a mole monster, but Dewey catches on pretty quickly. Launchpad can't believe his best friend is a mole monster, and Dewey is surprised that Launchpad considers him his best friend. Launchpad thinks Dewey can hear his thoughts and awkwardly changes the subject. Dewey allows is and Launchpad thinks he doesn't suspect anything.
After Launchpad crashes the train, Dewey surprises him by popping out of the rubble. Dewey says that it's just him, his best friend, but Launchpad still isn't convinced that he's not a mole monster. Dewey says that this isn't a movie and Launchpad says that denying he's a monster could mean he is one. Dewey says that by that logic, Launchpad should be questioning if he's a mole monster, and Launchpad proceeds to do so. Launchpad then thinks that mole monsters can be good guys and picks up Dewey as he decides that they can be a force of good for their people, much to Deweys annoyance.
Launchpad gets the train on, and the lights temporary hurt Dewey. Launchpad sees this as proof of him being a mole man, and throws him out of the room before locking it. Dewey is frustrated as Launchpad freaks out. He tells him to let him in, but Launchpad isn't letting that happen.
Season 2[]
THE DUCK KNIGHT RETURNS
Dewey and Launchpad attend a Darkwing Duck even in a parking lot, which included the airing of the final episode. When it ends, Launchpad says that he didn't see the twist coming. Dewey points out that Launchpad has seen the episode before, but Launchpad says that he's never seen it in a parking lot. Jim Starling then announces he'll be doing signings, and Dewey asks Launchpad if he's good. Launchpad says that he is, and thanks Dewey for being there. Drake comes over freaking out, and Launchpad says not to freak out. That he's been to plenty of these signings and will one day meet him. Drake asks why Launchpad hasn't met him yet, and when Jim calls next, Launchpad faints on top of Drake. Dewey then walks over and says that this is why.
When Jim mistakes Dewey for a new fan, he asks who to make out his next autograph to when he places a passed out Launchpad on top of the table. He says that Launchpad would appreciate it if Jim would sign his poster, but Jim just signs his face instead. Dewey takes a picture of the two and finds out that they're making a Darkwing Duck movie.
Launchpad agrees to drive Jim to the studio, only to constantly faint every time he looks back. Dewey tells him to stop looking in the rearview mirror, and Launchpad tries to be totally professional, but faints again. Dewey can't believe he's going to a real life movie set, and Launchpad says that he's doing it with a real life movie star. Dewey isn't so sure about Jim, since the movie studio should send their own car, or at least tell him the movie exists. But Launchpad says that they couldn't make a movie without Darkwing Duck.
Later, Launchpad finds Dewey and tells him that Drake, who is now Darkiwng, is a huge fan of the show, and Jim can give him pointers to make him more heroic. He says that they're going to convince Boorswan to change the movie, and picks up Dewey to ask if he's seen Jim. Dewey says that he might be on his set since they're letting him do what he wants. It's crazy, huge, he's not sure if it's any good, but tells Launchpad to follow him. They run off and simultaneously yell "making movies is fun".
Season 3[]
THEY PUT A MOONLANDER ON THE EARTH
Dewey tries to ask Launchpad about a possible look for the news, but Launchpad is distracted and Dewey has to remind him to look at the road. Launchpad wants to ask him a best friend question, and Dewey says sure. Launchpad explains that he and Penumbra went on a bad date, and shouldn't go out anymore, but he doesn't know how he's supposed to act around her. He asks if he's her enemy now, and Dewey isn't sure since she's hard to read. Launchpad asks if she's mad that he's driving her, and suggests that maybe Dewey should drive. Dewey suggest he just talk to her, and Launchpad thanks him for the wise words. He climbs onto the roof and Dewey yells at him not to ask now.
