AQUALAD
Jericho is looking through some records at a shop, when Dick offers to trade him the record he's holding for one of his own. They make the trade and Dick introduces himself. Jericho introduces himself, and Dick offers to show him something. Jericho unaware that Dick is trying to get close to him to get close to Slade.
JERICHO
Jericho is lying in bed when he gets a text from Dick asking if he's coming. He texts back that he's on his way and goes to meet the Titans at the beach. Dick tells him about a new record, which Jericho gets excited about, but Donna tells them to get back to the party. Dawn admits to Dick that she's not a fan of their plan anymore, given how much they all like Jericho. Dick feels the same, but reminds her that he's Slade's son. Dawn asks if he's sure of that and Dick say that he is.
Dick notices a cuff with the eye of Horus on Jercicho and asks where he got it. Jericho says it was a birthday gift, and Dick asks who from. Jericho says it's from his dad, and Dick asks if he's still in the picture. Jericho becomes quiet and Dawn assures him that he doesn't need to talk about it. Dick says that his dad was a borderline psychopath and that they don't get to choose their fathers.

DickJoey is a smaller pairing in the DC fandom, but has a decent following, but still considered rather commong. With there being a decent following in most Titans books fandoms. With many noting the subtext of the two's relationship in the earlier comics. On AO3, DickJoey is the most written ship for Joey. There are currently 100+ written works.
