DickRoy is the slash ship between Dick Grayson and Roy Harper from the DC Comics, Teen Titans and Young Justice fandoms.
Canon[]
Season 2[]
WINNER TAKE ALL
After Robin, Cyborg and Beast Boy are pulled into a tournament of heroes, they go and mingle with the other competitors. Robin and Speedy stare at and circle each other at first, before Robin sticks out his hand. He says that he's heard of Speedy and how good he is, and Speedy takes his hand. The two shake, and Speedy says the same. He says it's nice to finally meet him and Robin asks what his arrows are made of. Speedy pulls one out, and explains what it is. Robin says that it's the same for his electric disks, and asks how he came over a specific problem. Speedy explains, as Beast Boy comments that he didn't know Robin had a clone.
Robin, Wildebeest and Speedy are the last three contestants, and are all made to fight each other for the final round. Speedy and Robin look to each other, and silently agree to team up. Robin jumps on Speedy to get a lift and take out Wildebeest. Speedy thanks him for the help, and Robin says not to thanks him yet. Speedy then looks down to see that Robin let some ice detonate below him and he slips. Speedy then gets out a box glove arrow, and aims it at Robin but misses. Wildebeest is then taken out of the competition as the meteor they're on starts to break. Speedy says to let the best man win, and Robin says he intends to. They fight till getting to a standstill and start to taunt each other. They fight till Robin breaks Speedy's bow. Robin says that Speedy looses and Speedy asks if it was really worth it, when he's zapped away.
After saving everyone, Robin gives all the non-Titans members communicators. He then goes to Speedy and apologizes for acting like a jerk. Speedy says that they both were, and that it was Robin's drive to win that saved them. Robin says that when he was fighting the Master at the end, he was fighting for his friends and not to win. They then say goodbye and transport back home.

DickRoy was initially one of the most popular ships for both Dick and Roy within the DC fandom. However, the ship started to fall out of favor around the early 2010's. This was due to the Young Justice tv series pushing the Wally and Dick friendship more, and the DC Universe being rebooted with the New 52. Which stopped pairing Dick and Roy up for crossover and instead pushed Roy and Jason in a close friendship. As the New 52 brought a lot of new fans to DC comics, it caused many fans to not know that Dick and Roy were best friends prior to the reboot.
On AO3, DickRoy is the third most written ship for Roy. There are currently over 1000 written works.

Trivia[]
- Dick and Roy both appear in the DCAU, but Dick only appears in Batman and Roy only ever appeared in Justice League Unlimited.
