Dimilix is the slash ship between Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd and Felix Hugo Fraldarius from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Fire Emblem: Three Houses[]
Dimitri and Felix had known each other since childhood, spending time with each other being good friends. Things take a down turn when Dimitri survives the Tragedy of Duscur in Imperial Year 1176 - an event that saw the massacre of everyone else present, including Felix's older brother Glenn. Two years after that in 1178, Dimitri and Felix join forces for the first time in quelling a rebellion. It's during this battle that Felix witnesses firsthand how Dimitri was relishing in massacring the enemy and the bloodshed he was causing. Felix was horrified by what he saw and caused him to distance himself from his now former friend - seeing him as nothing more than a monster.
Part I:White Clouds[]
The two would reunite two years after the rebellion as students of Garreg Mach Monastery's Officer's Academy. With their high standings within the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, they're both placed in the Blue Lions house with Dimitri serving as the leader. Their studies over the year get disrupted by Garreg Mach's impromptu conflict with the mysterious "Flame Emperor" - who Dimitri is convinced has something to do with the Tragedy of Duscur. Further complicating matters is the appointment of new professor Byleth to teach one of the houses. Byleth chooses to either teach Dimitri and Felix by joining the Blue Lions or by transferring Felix to the house they are teaching. During the year, Felix continues maintaining personal distance from Dimitri by outwardly showing a disdain for him and repeated calling him a "boar" - to which Dimitri repeatedly brushes off.
Things come to a head if Byleth is teaching the Blue Lions. Dimitri, Felix, and the others join Byleth when their summoned to the Holy Tomb for a ritual, only to end up directly fighting the Flame Emperor and their forces. At the end of the battle, the two discover the Flame Emperor is Black Eagles leader Edelgard von Hresvelg - and Felix witnesses Dimitri's sanity break, gleefully slaughtering Edelgard's forces only for her to escape. Back in their classroom, Felix tells the other Blue Lions that he's seen Dimitri like that before but they're not convinced at knowing everything. Edelgard soon ascends as Emperor of the Adrestian Empire before declaring war on the Church of Seiros by launching an attack on Garreg Mach. Dimitri and Felix join in defending the monastery but are forced into retreat thanks to the disappearance of Byleth and the church's archbishop Rhea.
Part II:Azure Moon[]
In the five years after the battle of Garreg Mach, the monastery laid abandoned Dimitri was considered executed by Faerghus court mage Cornelia in a power grab, causing the Kingdom becoming an Imperial dukedom. Despite this, Felix joins the other former Blue Lions to return to Garreg Mach so they could uphold the promise they made about reuniting for the Millennium Festival. It's in the monastery's outskirts that Felix finds Dimitri is still alive and is working alongside a likewise-alive Byleth in clearing the place of looters. Felix joins the other Blue Lions in helping them in the task.
Following the battle, and the ex-Blue Lions regrouping with the Knights of Seiros searching for Rhea, Felix witnesses Dimitri's newfound apathy about working with anyone. It perturbs Felix enough that he's the first to ask why he's acting so differently. After the newly-formed army beats back an Imperial force trying to retake Garreg Mach, and seeing Dimitri torture the leader, Felix wonders how his father Rodrigue - a friend of Dimitri's family - would react after they learn he's alive. The army soon rendezvous with Rodrigue's forces and the combined forces manage to secure a way into the Empire. All the while, Felix continues witnessing Dimitri's singlemindedness at getting revenge on Edelgard. Once, when Byleth attempts to reason with Dimitri, Felix notes it's pointless to try reasoning with the beast he sees that Dimitri has finally embraced being.
Dimitri's army eventually comes into battle with an Imperial army led personally by Edelgard at Grondor Field, with a force led by Leicester Alliance leader Claude von Riegan also forced into fighting both. Before the battle, Felix asks Dimitri if they can win before noting that they die for him if they don't. Dimitri's army manages to win, but receive an unexpected casualty in the aftermath when an assassin - the sister of the Imperial leader Dimitri tortured - kills Rodrigue trying to protect Dimitri from a sneak attack. This act, however, breaks Dimitri out of his want for revenge and apologizes to everyone for his actions. Felix isn't convinced as he demands to know how Dimitri will make up for his father's death. Ultimately, Dimitri decides to show his changed self by retaking the Kingdom, an act that Felix agrees to help with in his father's stead on the promise that Dimitri wins - even calling him by his name instead of "beast" or "boar".
Dimitri's forces manage to retake the Kingdom's capital of Fhirdiad and kill Cornelia before assisting Claude in defending the Alliance capital from Imperial invasion. It's at the end of this battle that Felix learns from the Imperial leader - Lord Arundel - that Edelgard is Dimitri's step-sister. This revelation makes Felix question if Dimitri is willing to kill Edelgard seeing as she's not just a former friend but family, to which the king admits he will if it comes to that. With that, Felix joins Dimitri and his army in finally assaulting the Imperial capital of Enbarr to end the war. At the castle's gates, Felix tells Dimitri to win before they enter the castle. Inside, Felix protects Dimitri so the sacrifices of his family isn't in vain as the king and Byleth kill an empowered Edelgard, ending the war.
Support Conversations and Paired Ending[]
Dimitri and Felix happen upon each other in Garreg Mach's training room. Seeing they're there for the same reason, Dimitri offers to train together only for Felix to express disgust at the prince's face. Dimitri merely shrugs off the insult as he notes that Felix is growing more like his brother, a comparison that spurs Felix into calling him a blood-craving beast. Dimitri soon realizes that Felix's hatred of him stems from the uprising they helped stopped - which Felix confirms as he iterates how much of a crazed monster the prince looked as he was killing the rebels. Being reminded of his slaughter stuns Dimitri into silence long enough for Felix to prod him into denying the accusation. However, Dimitri tells him that he doesn't deny the account and admits he has a point. At that, Felix declares the Dimitri he knew died in Duscur along with his brother before telling the prince to leave as he doesn't converse with beasts.
Sometime later, Felix approaches Dimitri asking if they could train together. Dimitri is surprised that Felix wants to talk with him given their last interaction, but soon notices that he has a new sword on him. The prince, to his astonishment, realizes that it's a sword forged by the legendary swordsmith Zoltan. Felix heads Dimitri off by saying he's not giving the sword to him, but the prince admits just seeing it is enough for him - before asking to hold it. Felix naturally denies the request as he recalls an event nine years ago where Dimitri swung a sword so hard it snapped in two - a story, much to Felix's bemusement, Dimitri objects to as pleads that he's not that kind of fool anymore. Felix, however, suddenly realizes it's pointless talking about someone that's dead before angrily leaving to look for a new sparring partner - leaving Dimitri to ponder what's wrong with him.
Five years after - after Dimitri is broken out of his bloodlust - Felix threatens the now king before asking him what his true face is: the bloodthisty animal or the friendly man. Dimitri, however, points out to Felix that they're both him before noting he has to shoulder the burdens of those that died at Duscur on his own. Felix, drawing on his feelings about his late father, merely scoffs at that last part and claims that the dead don't care about what he does. Despite Dimitri's objections, Felix presses on by pointing out shouldering the burdens of the dead will only lead the king to joining them and suggests - if he's too weak to drop it - he should just abandon the throne and be a grave keeper. Felix then goes on to admit he's had thoughts about how he had to live while his father and brother had to die, only to tell Dimitri he had more important things to do than wallow in their memory. After hearing that speech, Dimitri comes to a realization: Felix really is growing like his brother. The king thanks Felix as their talk has given him perspective - but Felix notes he just didn't like his pathetic face, which Dimitri accepts with no further pushback.
Following the war's end, Felix - now Duke of House Fraldarius - took his place alongside Dimitri as his advisor. The bond the two shared over Dimitri's rule was so strong that Felix's grief about the king's death was greater than his queen's. The tales of their bond passed through generations and rivaled those of Dimitri's ancestor Loog and his sworn friend Kyphon.
Part II: Other Routes[]
In Verdant Wind, Felix is among Dimitri's force during that route's version of the Battle of Grondor Field. Felix can escape the battle or be killed in the crossfire, which elicits a sad response from Dimitri - who, himself, is ultimately killed by Imperial forces. In Crimson Flower, Felix and Dimitri are fought and killed in separate battles: Felix when the Empire sieges Arianrhod and Dimitri when he joins Rhea in the battle at Tailtean Plains while swearing to avenge Felix among others. If Byleth had recruited Felix on either of these routes, he will end up fighting Dimitri in the respective battle. In Crimson Flower in particular, Dimitri is furious that the swordsman helped the Empire kill his own father (another victim of the siege of Arianrhod), but Felix tells the king that he's willing to cut down anyone in his way. With that declaration, Dimitri gets the resolve to try and kill Felix but is ultimately killed, himself. Meanwhile in Verdant Wind (and Silver Snow), Felix is visibly distraught about learning Dimitri died at Grondor and begins thinking that things might've been different if he was at Dimitri's side.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes[]
Dimitri and Felix have a much less troubled relationship than in Three Houses. Felix is much more openly loyal to Dimitri, accepting the role of Duke Fraldarius after Dimitri is crowned King and remaining steadfastly by his side. This is reflected in how gameplay-wise, he's a unit exclusive to Azure Gleam and will fight the player's army multiple times on Scarlet Blaze and Golden Wildfire.
While Felix is still prickly and easily irritated by Dimitri's reckless self-sacrificing nature, he's more open with his concern for Dimitri's well-being and health. In their supports, he chides Dimitri for not eating enough and for overworking himself. Dimitri, who maintains his hold on sanity more easily in Hopes, also confides in Felix about his "waking nightmare" in which he imagines the ghosts of their lost loved ones begging him to avenge them. This is where Felix learns the truth about the origins of "the boar Prince" and accepts his role as Dimitri's right-hand man. Felix is also one of three people in the "The King's Fight" cutscene in Azure Gleam, going into Dimitri's room to rescue him alongside Shez and Dedue.
The name "boar" has also become more of an affectionate nickname, including partner dialogue during battles where in response to "give me a hand, boar", Dimitri jokes that he thinks Felix means a tusk.
Fanon[]
Dimilix is a very popular ship in the Fire Emblem fandom. From the first time they're seen interacting in Three Houses, fans were quite interested in the reasons Felix seemed to hate Dimitri despite supposedly being friends. But seeing the true picture through both their support conversations and in the story - resulting in Felix becoming second only to Dedue as Dimitri's staunchest ally - is what truly endeared fans to this ship. Their interactions in Three Hopes, showing a Felix far kinder to Dimitri and is only annoyed about his self-crucifying attitude, gave an even bigger jolt to the ship's popularity. This ship has quite a bit of rivalry on both sides with ships like Dimileth, Dimigard, Netteflix, and Sylvix.
On AO3, this ship is extremely popular for with tagged entries in the 2,400's range, making it the fifth most written ship for Three Houses. It's both Dimitri's and Felix's second-most written ships behind Dimileth and Sylvix, respectively.

Trivia[]
- Dimitri's and Felix's B-Support is one of only two supports (the other being Edelgard's and Byleth's C+-Support) that gives a benefit other than increasing the pair's bond, namely adding a Sword of Zoltan to the inventory.
