Oliver, Hal and Dinah, have all been close at various points in time over the years. With all three having been members of the Justice League either together, or at separate times. Hal and Oliver eventually became best friends, with Hal keeping Oliver's more aggressive temper in check. Oliver and Dinah have been a couple for years, having frequently rotated between being together and broken up. Dinah and Hal also became close as a result of their mutual closeness to Oliver. With the two becoming friends and bonding due to this.

DinahHalOllie is a rarepair in the DC fandom, but is considered common among the Green Lantern and Green Arrow fandoms. Many ship them due to a "Ollie has two hands" argument. Believing that Oliver has enough chemistry with both of them, that both could work as a potential couple with him. As well as that Hal and Dinah are close enough that there wouldn't be any jealousy with sharing Oliver. Some also say that all three of them are raising Ollie's kids together, most specifically Roy. With Hal being just a big of influence on his kids life as Dinah is. With it often being joked that the kids don't really know how to react to the three's situationship. Fans often depict the relationship as happening during the 70s Green Lantern run. The name "Hard Traveling Heroes" comes from this era in comics. Where the three would do heroics around the country together. Some like the idea of the three being a bi4bi4bi couple. As many see all three as queercoded.
