Original London Production[]
After Greaseball breaks up with Dinah, he runs into CB. CB comments that Greaseball and Dinah make quite the team, but Greaseball tells him that he and Dinah have broken up. Greaseball then skates off and CB goes over to Dinah. He tells her that while she may be on her own there's always someone there for her. Specifically talking about himself. He assures her that she's allowed to cry and he'll be there regardless of if she's sad or happy. That even if he's not right by her, he's always there for her.

Dinahboose is a popular ship in the StEx fandom. It mostly comes from fans of the original West End production. As while CB is an antagonist, he's very sweet to Dinah. Extra significance since it doesn't seem to be for any reason other than he wants to make her feel better. Its main rival ships include GreaseDinah and Electraboose. It is also often shipped alongside Prusty and Greased Lightning.
Fans of the ship often depict the two as getting together after the events of the show. With it often being a point that Dinah refused to get back with Greaseball even after he apologized to her. Instead getting together with CB who many view as having been much nicer to her throughout the show. Some also believe that CB betraying Greaseball was due to his jealousy over his relationship with Dinah. Believing that he wanted to be with her and didn't like the way Greaseball treated her.
On AO3, Dinahboose is the second most written ship for Dinah and third most written for CB. It is also the fifth most written ship in the Starlight Express tag. There are currently 35+ written works.
