Dinahmite is the femslash ship between Dinah and Joule from the Starlight Express fandom.

Dinah and Joule do not have many major interactions for any version of the show. With most of them being minor and during Dinah's very brief time seen during her time with Electra and the components.

Bochum 2013-2018[]

As Greaseball decides to hot the attention of everyone, Dinah and the other coaches gets behind him and fawn over him. Greaseball then calls over the components, and Joule and the other girls join them. Joule taking the spot next to Dinah as they both dance. As "Pumping Iron" comes to an end, both Dinah and Joule end up at Greaseball's feet to fawn over him. Later, the two end up both competing in the finals, Dinah with Electra and Joule with Ruhrgold. When Ruhrgold is too injured to race again, Joule rejoins Electra who is getting ready to race with Dinah. Joule then watches as Dinah breaks things off with Electra, and is annoyed by her and Electra is forced to race with CB.

Dinahmite is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Mostly due to their limited interactions across all versions of the show. Meaning fans more often have to draw on Behind the Scenes content of the two for ship inspiration. The ship name is a pun on Joule being a Dynamite truck and Dinah's name. Its rival ships include GreaseDinah and Electronents.

Some fans just ship them as they believe they would be hot together. Finding that both are very attractive and as a result should get with each other for the physical reasons. As well as some believing that there is an aesthetic appeal to the two. That while both are very feminine, Joule's more exagerated style does well to complment Dinah's more tradditional stlye. With the other opposing aesthetics being an appeal as well. With Dinah being reminiscent of 1950s styles while Joule is more an idea of the future.
