Dipcifica is the het ship between Dipper Pines and Pacifica Northwest from the Gravity Falls fandom.
Canon[]
Season One[]
IRRATIONAL TREASURE
Dipper initially hated Pacifica, as she always made Mabel feel bad and he thought she was so stuck up. In order to cheer Mabel up, Dipper led Mabel down a forgotten conspiracy which revealed that Pacifica's ancestor, Nathaniel Northwest, wasn't actually the town's founder, and was actually a waste solving idiot who died trying to eat an oak tree to prove he was a "powerful wizard".
When the time came to reveal this to Pacifica, Mabel decided not to, having learned that it doesn't matter what others think of you so long as you are happy with yourself. Dipper on the other hand hadn't learned anything, and promptly shows Pacifica that her family name was built on lies, much to her horror and Dipper's delight.
Season Two[]
THE GOLF WAR
While the twins are at the local mini golf course, Pacifica arrives and starts showing off. Dipper tried to cut her down a peg by reminding Pacifica her family legacy was false, but Pacifica is unaffected, stating that money solved that problem.
Mabel then challenged Pacifica to a golf match at midnight. During their practice, Dipper and Mabel discovered that the golf holes are controlled by little creatures called Lilliputtians. Seeing that each hole has its own rivalry with the other, Dipper comes up with the idea to take advantage of their rivalries and bribe them into making it so Pacifica lost the match. Mabel is initially hesitant about this, considering it cheating, but Dipper points out that, since Pacifica is rich, she's "cheating at life".
As the match goes on, the Dutchmen Lilliputtians become paranoid that Mabel is favoring the other holes over them and decide to kill Pacifica in order to increase their chances in winning the prize. Mabel then learns that rivalries are dumb, and she and Dipper rescued Pacifica from the ravenous little men.
Stan then comes to pick the twins up. Seeing that Pacifica's parents haven't arrived yet, Mabel decided to give her a lift, much to Dipper's dismay. After dropping her off, Mabel tried to convince Dipper that Pacifica is just like them, only to be proven wrong by how fancy her mansion is. Dipper then tells Mabel that they should have charged Pacifica for a taco she ate on the ride over, which Mabel agrees.
NORTHWEST MANSION MYSTERY
When ghostly activity start happening on the night before the Northwests' annual fancy party, the Northwests decided to hire Dipper to get rid of it, due to him gaining fame for dealing with paranormal stuff.
The next day, Mabel and her friends hear news of the party and start wishing they could attend it, even though it's for rich people only. Dipper reminds the girls that Pacifica is the worst, a statement he declares he would say to her face, which is proven to be true when she appears at their front door asking for Dipper's help. At first, Dipper is hesitant to help Pacifica, but Mabel convinces him to help on the condition that Mabel and her friends get to attend the party, something Pacifica agrees to out of desperation.
Upon arriving at the party, Pacifica's father, Preston, has Pacifica dress Dipper in a tux, something he complains about. After mocking her false family legacy once again, Pacifica takes Dipper to the room that has the most ghost activity. Dipper reassures Pacifica that the activity they've been experiencing sounds like a Category 1 ghost, speculating about Pacifica being a fake blonde in the process. However, this is proven wrong when the taxidermy in the room starts crying blood and chanting "ancient sin".
The ghost then manifests itself from the fireplace and starts chasing the two around the mansion. Eventually, Dipper reads in his journal that ghosts can be trapped in a silver mirror. However, when he finds one, Pacifica tries to stop him, in order to prevent him from ruining her parent's favorite carpet pattern with his muddy footprints. In the scuffle, the two fall into a secret room behind a painting, seemingly hiding from the ghost. However, the ghost appears again and tries to kill Pacifica. Luckily, Dipper finds a silver mirror and seals the ghost within in, blasting the two into the garden.
Ecstatic, Pacifica hugs Dipper for catching the ghost. However, she then lets go and tries to pay Dipper to forget that she did that out of embarrassment. Delighted with the results, Pacifica's parents thank Dipper for saving the party, but Dipper states he was just honoring his side of the deal. Dipper then proceeds to leave, to which Pacifica points out that he's missing his opportunity to be at the world's best party. Dipper states that he'd love to stay, but he has a ghost to exorcize, and then awkwardly leaves the garden, much to Pacifica's delight.
Dipper then muses to himself that Pacifica might not be as bad as he thought, but the ghost tells him that he's been had. The ghost explains that he was once Archibald Corduroy, one of the lumberjacks that Nathaniel Northwest hired to build Northwest Manor, promising to celebrate by throwing a party every year for both the common folk and the upper class as payment. However, after many years and many deaths, Nathaniel refused to keep his word when the mansion was completed. As the other lumberjacks left dejected, Archibald shouted at Nathaniel for breaking his promise. Unfortunately, with all the trees used as lumber, a storm caused a mudslide that swept Archibald away, resulting in an axe flying into his head and killing him. With his dying breath, Archibald cursed the Northwests, stating that he would return from death in 150 years to enact his revenge if they still refused to let the townsfolk in. Nathaniel heard this and wrote the curse down, passing it down his family as a warning. Preston and Pacifica knew this and tricked Dipper into catching Archibald to avoid their karmic punishment.
Enraged, Dipper returns to the party. Initially, Pacifica is overjoyed that Dipper returned, only for Dipper to call the Northwests out for lying to him. Unphased, Preston states that the party would be ruined if the most powerful people in the world were to rub elbows with "Dipper's kind". Offended, Dipper states that he was right about Pacifica, calling her "another link in the world's worst chain". Pacifica tries to explain that her parents made her do it and that she should have told Dipper what was happening, but Preston shuts her down by ringing the bell he always uses whenever she speaks out of turn. Preston then tells Dipper to enjoy the party while he can, as it's the last time he and his kind will get to experience the party. Upset, Dipper leaves to exorcize Archibald.
At the exorcism, Archibald tries to convince Dipper to let him free, but Dipper turns him down. Archibald then tricks Dipper into holding the mirror, allowing him to burn Dipper's hand, smashing the mirror, and releasing the vengeful spirit. Archibald then wreaks havoc at the party, bringing taxidermy to life and turning the party guests into wood. When Dipper returns to the party, he hears Archibald declare that the curse will be undone if a Northwest opens the party gates. Dipper then finds Pacifica in the secret room they discovered earlier, looking at a painted record of every evil deed her family has done, and moping that she is no different. Dipper then apologizes for what he said and tells her it's not too late to repent.
However, Archibald declares that his revenge is nearly complete, as he has nearly converted all the party guests to wood, including Mabel and her friends. Dipper tries to catch Archibald again, but Archibald turns him to wood too. Archibald then proceeds to burn the mansion down. With no options left, Pacifica tells Archibald that she'll open the party gates. Horrified, Preston tells Pacifica to ignore the ghost's demands and come into their panic room, where they'll have enough food to last a week, telling her they'll eat their butler to extend the time. Pacifica ignores this and grabs the gate's lever. Preston tries to stop her by ringing the bell, but Pacifica declares that she is going to fix their broken name and opens the gates. With the ancient promise honored, the curse is reversed, and Archibald departs to the afterlife satisfied.
As Preston panics at the riffraff barging into the party, Pacifica tells Dipper to enjoy it while he can, as her father will probably lock the gates again next year. Dipper then cheered her up by pointing out that they're standing on her parent's favorite carpet pattern with muddy footprints. The two then throw snacks onto it before Pacifica tells him she better tell someone to clean it up.
WEIRDMAGEDDON 3: TAKE BACK THE FALLS
The two fought together against Bill Cipher during Weirdmageddon, but they didn't interact much. After Bill's defeat, Pacifica attended Dipper and Mabel's birthday party, having hand wrapped their presents herself. Pacifica would later sign Wendy's letter to Dipper stating that they'll see him and Mabel next summer, dotting the i with a heart.

"OLD MAN" MCGUCKET'S CONSPIRACY CORNER MARATHON
In the ""Old Man" McGucket's Conspiracy Corner Marathon" segment "Relation Shipping", McGucket implies that Dipper and Pacifica have feelings for each other. However, most of the statements McGucket makes in this series are wildly inaccurate, and this statement is followed by a clip of Dipper and Mabel recoiling in disgust.
JOURNAL 3
In the real life "Journal 3", Dipper recounts his adventure with Pacifica. He then goes on a tangent, stating that he thinks Pacifica looks nice in a dress and that she smelled like champagne and flowers when she hugged him. He then remarks that he felt "some vibe" between the two. However, the last two statements are crossed out, similar to earlier sentences about Wendy. He also draws a picture of Pacifica in a similar style to a drawing he made of Wendy earlier in the Journal. In the special edition of the book, Mabel writes Dipper a poem, teasing him about what he crossed out and tells him to start combing his hair.
DON'T COLOR THIS BOOK! IT'S CURSED!
In the coloring book "Don't Color This Book! It's Cursed!", Mabel draws some "Future Matchmaking Projects", one of which is Dipper and Pacifica. Initially, Dipper is hesitant about the idea, but when Mabel clarifies that she means after they cured her "rich-kid ails", Dipper doesn't deny the possibility.
LOST LEGENDS
In the "Lost Legends" story "Face It!", Pacifica comes to the Mystery Shack to ask Dipper to fix a wrinkle on her face for an upcoming photoshoot with her family. However, Dipper, having been put in charge of guarding the Journals, refuses to help. Undeterred, Pacifica sneaks into where the Journals are being kept and uses Journal 1 to summon a monster called Mr. What's-His-Face, thinking he'll make her face prettier. Mr. What's-His-Face then tries to steal her face but ends up accidentally stealing Mabel's face instead. With the help of Mabel's faceless body, the two head after Mr. What's-His-Face, bickering as they go.
They eventually end up in the Crawlspace, a black market for the supernatural. Dipper then tells Pacifica to rub garbage on her face to blend in, but when she actually does it, he reveals he was just messing with her. The two are then discovered by a cyclops. To get back at Dipper, Pacifica claims to be "Jackie the Elf Bandit", and that Dipper is her slave "Troll Boy". She tells the cyclops that she's looking for a replacement for her slave's abnormally large head, to which a creature called Limby Jimmy points out Mr. What's-His-Face in the crowd. However, Pacifica gets distracted by a crow selling beauty pills. Annoyed that Pacifica is letting their chance get away, Dipper accidentally lets it slip that they are humans. The two are then put on auction and subsequently sold to Mr. What's-His-Face, who stuffs them into a sack, where Pacifica finds out that the pills have a side effect of "Spontaneous Face Explosions".
With nowhere to go, Pacifica explains to Dipper that her mother, Priscilla, told her that beauty was everything. She would even change the endings of stories like the Ugly Duckling to fit her narrative. Due to this, Pacifica states that she doesn't know who she is without her looks. Dipper then tells her that she needs to stop worrying what other people think of her, stating that he thinks she's smart, creative and confident. Hearing Dipper tell her she more than just a pretty face, Pacifica hugs him and tells him that his head isn't that big.
The two are then dropped into Mr. What's-His-Face's living room, where Pacifica complains about his false advertising. Unphased, Mr. What's-His-Face steals Dipper's face and tries to convince her that he can still give her the face of her dreams, playing into her insecurities. Instead, she throws the pills she stole into Mr. What's-His-Face's face, causing it to combust. She then rescues Dipper and Mabel's faces, and follows Mabel's directions out of the Crawlspace, where Mr. What's-His-Face gets frozen by Ford. With both Dipper and Mabel back to normal, Pacifica panics that her photoshoot is in five minutes, but when she looks at her dirt covered self in a puddle, she states that she "looks like me". She then goes to the photoshoot covered in grime, earning a reputation for going "Pacifi-CRAZY".
Pacifica later tried to text Dipper, claiming that she wasn't actually hugging him, but whipping some monster drool off her sleeve onto him. Unfortunately, she was actually texting Mabel, as Dipper doesn't have a phone, who teases her about having a crush on Dipper.
THE BOOK OF BILL
In "the Book of Bill", Bill Cipher shows the reader Dipper's search history, which was first mentioned in the episode "Into the Bunker". One of the things Dipper searched for was "Pacifica Northwest pageant video".[1]
THIS IS NOT A WEBSITE DOT COM
In the "This Is Not A Website Dot Com" website, if you type in "Platinum Paz" in the computer, you receive a short story that takes place sometime after "Northwest Manor Mystery". In it, Pacifica laments about how she got grounded for standing up to her parents and blames the situation on the Pines twins, especially Dipper for encouraging her to "be a better person", even scoffing at the idea of putting his number in her phone.
She then falls asleep and has a guilt induced nightmare, during which Bill Cipher tries into trick her into making a deal to go get the interdimensional rift for him, disguised as a statue of her ancestor. Pacifica then realizes that her whole life has been determined for her and declines the offer. She then wakes up from the nightmare, which she either represses or has the memory stolen by Bill. She then remembers that her parents own a tapestry of Bill and decides to get rid of it. She then adds Dipper's number to her phone, which makes her feel relived for the first time in a while. If you type "Pacifica" into the computer, you get a note from her saying she dumped the tapestry in the lake with the help of a friend, who is heavily implied to be Dipper.
